- "Forgive my words, your highness, they came out of there own accord." Lucas responds quickly to the prince's words. He'd already realized his mistake as soon as the words left his mouth the only thing he could do now was to apologize and hope the prince didn't take his words to heart. While the prince didn't seem mad per say Lucas wasn't going to take any chance with the man he knew very little about, soul-bonded or not, the prince could very easily do away with him and no one would care one way or another. Lucas didn't have much interaction with the knights anyway, outside of the horses so he didn't worry much about saying the wrong thing in front of them. It seemed he'd just have to worry about that with the prince if he was going to be stopping by now.
Letting out a snort of amusement Lucas listened as the prince caught his own words, stopping himself from giving away what Lucas already knew. "I could just not take up the horses, but I get the feeling your stubborn enough to try and do it yourself or get one of the knights who knows how to do it for you." He replied while ignoring the prince's words to pretend he didn't hear the cut off remark. "Make sense that they would only tell them, which means you're only supposed to go out if one of them is here then, right?"
