alexander was born on the ark. him and his best friend john murphy were both arrested for setting fire to murphy’s fathers arresting officers quarters. his parents were devastated and shocked that alec decided to follow in murphy’s footseps.alec was seen as expendable and sent to the earth to see if its livable or not. alec paid lots of attention during the earth skills class on the arc and is the reason why he has so much knowledge about the earth. he was planning on to become a guard but was canceled when he was arrested. on alexander is very moody and stubborn. he tries to do what’s right but he will do what he needs to do to survive. Alec at first can come off as rude. It takes him time to meet and open up to new people. escpecialy that his parents are gone he wants to make them proud. alec cares for the ones he loves but has an odd way to show it.

the day had started like any other for cerridwen. she had woken up and helped her parents with their sheep and chickens and then she had trained with her parents for a bit. she could never train enough. her parents had always told her that being a warrior was the most important thing for her to be. it was the only way she could keep from getting taken to polis and put into a conclave. she didn't want to die or become the commander so the only way was to hide. as cerridwen practiced striking movements with her sword, she looked up to see something burning in the sky. as it got closer, it became bigger and bigger. it was like nothing she had ever seen before. her eyes were wide with fear as she ran into her house to warn her parents. was the sky falling?!

alec was awoken by a sudden jerk. his surroundings surprised him,he looked around to see delinquents. alec then saw his friend,john murphy, who was on his left. alec looked down to see that he was buckled in. he was confused,the last thing he remembered was being taken out of his cell and then getting put to sleep since he refused to be taken. was this some sort of punishment? alec was confused about everything that was going on,before a voice interrupted him,”relax kennedy...we’re just getting sent to our deaths that’s all.” murphy said with a small laugh. alec looked at him confused...”wh...what’s going on?” alec asked,he wasn’t even eighteen yet he wasn’t supposed to get floated yet. or ”sent to his death”.

before murphy could even answer him,jaha’s voice boomed through the ship. alec could barley concentrate on his voice since the turbulence was so bad. they were getting jolted around like eggs in a basket. the chancellor started to explain why they were on this ship and what their ”mission” was. alec then realized that they were being sent to earth. which is supposed to be filled with radiation. murphy was right,they were being sent to their deaths. alec won’t ever see his parents again,the thought scared him. he looked at john who seemed oddly at peace. he decided to stay quiet. trying not to think about his predetermined death. this had to be just another way to float the delinquents.

when the ship came to an abrupt stop,two were killed. they didn’t have their seatbelts in. he didn’t know exaclty the boys were. all he knew is that they had just landed. and they were on earth. it was a crazy sensation. he didn’t know if the air was toxic or not but decided to go down to the bottom of the ship where the rest of the deliquents were. he then saw jaha’s son,wells followed by clarke griffin another familiar face. by the door was a guard,which Alec was confused by. he then heard that he wasn’t a guard and that Octavia Blake,the girl in the floor had a brother. it kind of made sense now. octavia’s brother and griffin argued about opening the door. Alec didn’t care what happened since he knew he was going to die.

they opened the doors to see the blinding sunlight,green trees,and fresh air. alec looked around in comeplete awe. this was the earth... the ground,the dream. he remembered fantasizing about what it would be like down here and now he was finally living it. a snails plastered over his face. he looked around and it was just fresh. everyone was happy,ruining around but Alec stood there. he took everything in. enjoying the trees the nature. it was absolutely breathtaking.

"nomon! nontu! ai gaf in ma bleirona!(mother! father! i need my sword!)" cerridwen yelled to her parents as she rushed into their hut. had the commander sent people from the sky to catch her? she needed to find out who these people were, if there were people, what clan they were from and what they were doing here. "cerridwen, chit set daun?(cerridwen, what is wrong?)" her father asked when he came back with her sheath. "nontu, skai ste slipen daun!(father, the sky is falling down!)" cerridwen said in a panicked voice a she took her sword. she didn't wait to here his reply, instead she ran out of the hut and towards where she had seen the pod fall. she wondered if there would be people after all.

the warrior slowed down a little bit as she got closer, she didn't want to run into something she couldn't handle. she heard the sound of footsteps and crunching leaves before she quickly jumped behind a tree. cerridwen pulled her sword up a bit, the blade just glinting a bit in the light. she looked to see a boy, looking about the same age as her walking through the food, looking at the trees in awe. what was he doing admiring the trees?
