Joel's eyes widened at the pricetag, not that he cared too much. Joel. Joel Skeezer. He reached into his pocket to grab his ID and his card. Do I pay up front or after the stay? He handed the receptionist his ID and card.

colin took the idea and looked at it, wrote details down, and then handed it back to him, "now, please. you could could do a 'once a day's type deal, if that would work better." colin opened a drawer to grab his card scanner.

Joel grabbed his ID back, sliding it into a card holder in his wallet. All at once would do me better, thanks. He watched as the receptionist scrambled for an EFTPOS. It's what I've always called it sorry.So, business booming lately?

colin glanced up at him at the question and replied sarcastically, "oh, yeah, people just love vacationing in this weather. so much to do," he huffed and looked down at his book, writing some additional information down before he asked for Joel's card.

Joel looked down at him with kind eyes, his credit card tapping on the counter. Personally, I enjoy this weather, it's nice and gloomy, relaxing, I guess. He took a glance at the door, the mist flying by as he continued to stare.

colin smiled a little at his words, "I agree with you, but unfortunately for me, most people don't." he pushed the card scanner over to him, "just swipe it and it'll go through." he told him, closing the book and putting it away

He nodded slightly as his gaze switched back to the EFTPOS. He held out his card and swiped it along the side. Waiting for the screen to change. What's your name if I may ask? he said still waiting for the screen to change.

"colin," he told him, then handed him a pen and a paper, "can you write down your phone number and email address for me?" he did his best to keep a smile on his face while he talked, but he was honestly still pretty tired, and now he was hungry and that was never good.
