1x1 with Papa Carmen

Frostpaw quickly unwrapped Winterpaw's cast and ran to the herb storage. She inspected the herbs and placed them into different piles. She padded over to Echosong, but sensed she saw asleep.

[carmen.]

"Alright. Are we gonna be watched by Featherstar or some other cat or is it just gonna be us?"
"Just us."

Frostpaw tapped her paw on the stone floor, impatiently. She watched the cats come back and leave the camp, tiredly.

[carmen.]

She nodded and they headed into the forest, Adderpaw feeling confident about the task. She wondered what her friends' and siblings' tasks were, but shrugged it off and glanced around for any prey to chase after.

Echosong awoke, with a shake. "Oh, have you completed your tasks?" She asked. "Yes Ma'am." Frostpaw replied, her smile slowly coming back. Echosong stretched, getting up quickly. "Well, we will go to Moonstone at sunset. Do whatever you can before then." Frostpaw nodded.

[carmen.]

She scanned the area once her mentor stepped away, letting her to all the work. Once she found a chestnut rabbit leaping around carelessly, she bared her teeth thanks to the sly smile growing across her face. She ducked herself down, the grass making contact with her chest, and she slowly crawled closer to the bush nearby her prey. Silence fell into the forest, and intensity built inside her until she finally leaped out of the bush, claws unsheathed, and pounced right onto the rabbit. She instantly killed it by all the pressure she put onto her paws and also her claws. She picked it up with her jaw and turned to Eagletalon with her eyes sparkling with pride.

Frostpaw wandered outside of the den, excited. Though, she felt lonely, and bored. Although I don't like being taunted by Adderpaw, it would make a good distraction. She thought, making her way to the nursery. Her mother, Quailleaf, sat elegantly in her nest. "How was your day?" She asked, looking at her daughter. Frostpaw sat next to her, tired. "Boring.."

[carmen.]

"Great! Now we just need to do that with more rabbits!" And so she did. After collecting the bodies of the rabbits they made their way back to camp. She studied the camp and searched for any sign of her friends or siblings, and Bearpaw was there. Her task must have been quick.

Quailleaf wrapped her tail around her legs. "Just remember this, you're getting your full name today! Isn't that exciting?" She asked. Frostpaw shrugged, staring at the wall. "I guess.."

[carmen.]

The plain brown she-cat waved at her with her fluffy tail, which she waved back. "You think Featherstar will allow me to become a warrior?" She questioned. "I'm sure he will, now come on." Her pace quickened so she could reach the entrance of their leader's den swifter.
