Frostpaw heard Adderpaw's voice and didn't turn to let her make fun of her gaze. "Will you just leave me alone for once? You've mocked me since I was a kit." She replied, her tail tucked under her legs.

[carmen.]

She let out a snicker and rolled her amber eyes. "No one is stopping me from teasing you and it's fun because I could do anything to you and you wouldn't expect it."

"I can hear the river better than you can, I can sense when you're coming nearer, I can tell you have a smug look on your face. The last one was only based on your tone.." She muttered, sighing.

[carmen.]

"Okay and? What if we went into a battle, I don't think you'd last long huh?"

"I'm not meant to go into battle!
I'm a substitute medicine cat apprentice! But you know, I haven't heard of you hunting a decent piece of prey." She said.

[carmen.]

She narrowed her eyes and curled her lips. "At least I could catch more than you."

"Rotten prey, sure." Frostpaw said, walking to the medicine den. Just before she padded in, she flashed Adderpaw a sarcastic smirk. She looked forward and went to work.

[carmen.]

A quiet growl grew in her throat, but she rolled her eyes and turned to the other apprentices near her.
"You wanna head out?" Leafpaw mewed.
"I guess, sure."

As she walked in, she sensed Winterpaw. He had damaged his paw in a landslide about two days ago. "Anything new?" He asked, shifting his paw. "I was teased again if that matters." She muttered, sitting next to him.

So, the three cats separated and searched for their mentors. Adderpaw found her own, who was Eaglewing. "Hey Eaglewing." She greeted as she approached the brown-and-white tom.
"Hello. Wanna train for hunting?"
"Yes please." She muttered, thinking about Frostpaw's words.
