She tensed up slightly in his hold and whined quietly as she sobbed

"It's okay." He said and held her.

She ended up moving his arm away from her side and around her shoulders because it really hurt

Jax sighed quietly. He wished that there was more that he could do.

She eventually stopped crying. But still, she was sad and upset

"Would you like to watch a movie?" He asked her.

She shook her head. "I'm gonna go sit in the front yard. " It was lashing rain outside. But she needed time to herself. Even if it confused him.

"No. You can stay in here. I was planning on going for a walk anyway." Jax said. He did not want her to get sick. He could just sit in his car for a while. He stood up.

She shook her head and walked outside. She walked out to the front garden wall and sat up on it.

Jax let her go and sighed. He sat on the couch. He sighed and leaned back.
