"Hello, Jax." The nurse said, "Mavis has a lot of stitches to get, and she had fractured her jaw, and had bad bruises. But no extremely bad injuries."

Jax listened to the nurse and nodded. "Okay thank you." He said to her. He was worried about his wife. He loved her.

"You can come see her now. She's pretty drugged up from painkillers and stuff..." She smiled. Mavis was sitting on a hospital bed. Staring at the ceiling.

"Okay. Thank you." He said and picked up his daughter and carried her to Mavis' room. "Hey babe." He said to her and sat in a chair.

"Hi.." She mumbled. "Why's mama here?" Emily asked quietly. Mavis lay back on the bed, sighing

"Mama got hurt but she will be okay." He said to her and looked at Mavis and gently took her hand. "I love you." He said to her.

Jax looked at her wife and then his daughter. He loved the two of them.
