Clara
She looked around trying to create a mental map of the city it was much bigger than her kingdoms main city she hoped she would get to know it better the longer she stayed. "you have nothing to thank me for I should be thanking you" she said "Without you my first day here would have been very lonely" she said with a light sigh. Looking down "I... as soon as you left I don't know why but I missed having you around," she told him not really sure it was a good idea to tell him but felt the need for him to know.

Richard

“Oh?” Richard smiled, “To be honest with you I was hoping to run into you again. ” He said. Something about their meeting had left a mark- a feeling rather- he couldn’t quite grasp what he felt but it was something strong. “Though, I didn’t expect twice in one day or this exact situation either.” Richard added. He was glad she missed him and wasn’t annoyed with the fact that he snuck into the castle.

Clara
She looked up as the castle came into view feeling rather silly it had been much closer than she had realized. Looking to the side at him she nodded "I didn't know when I would end up seeing you I was worried it would not be until my" she cut herself off looking down. Sighing she finished her sentence "wedding" for some reason the word was harder to say in front of him now she didn't really understand why tho she had even invited him.

Richard

“You were worried?” Richard shook his head, “I probably would’ve broken in again, I get anxious pretty quickly.” He took note of the fact that there was a slight pause when she mentioned her wedding, “You still don’t seem so keen on marrying the Prince, is everything alright? I mean, I know I don’t have any say, but I don’t want you to be in a loveless marriage.” The thought of her being unhappy concerned him he liked it when people were happy.

Clara
she shook her head "Probably best you don't break in everyone is pretty worked up about that they don't understand how easy it was for you" she said. tensing up she sighed "It's more like an agreement or understanding than a marriage I am just worried about the expectation of having children and things like that," she told him. shrugging it off she looked at him "I have never been in love tho so perhaps we could eventually 'love' each other" she half smiled.

Richard

He shrugged, "Oh? Is it really busy in there?" He asked, "Hm, I wish there was another way to see you, well, before you get married." Richard figured that he wouldn't be able to see Clara anymore once she got married especially if she and Nicholas had to start a family he didn't- he couldn't rip that apart, "You've never been in love?" That surprised him, "Not even a childhood love?" Richard had been in love before, but he never acted on his feelings he was afraid that he would be a trainwreck if he ever confessed to someone.

Clara
she nodded in agreement "I doubt it would be very good tho it could start rumors and I don't want that for you" she sighed looking down. blushing slightly she took a hesitant breath "no I have never had an opportunity to find love anyone I showed even the slightest interest in or showed interest in me disappeared" she rubbed the back of her neck. "People usually kept themselves distant from me for that reason" she explained hoping it would not change his opinion of her to him,

Richard

Richard shook his head, "I promise I won't disappear." he quickly realized he said and got flustered, "I mean, I won't forget about you- Ah! I don't even know what I'm trying to say anymore...I'll be quiet now." Richard covered his face with his hand he wanted to say more but he knew if he did it would mean he'd end up embarrassing himself even more. What he said was true though, he wouldn't forget about Clara he liked her a lot even if their social standings were on two completely different levels.

Clara
she smiled "I'm glad you won't," she said fondly resting her head on his shoulder letting out a small giggle as he kept talking "you don't have to worry about what you say around me" she told him. taking a deep breath she slowed their walk not wanting to rush back to the castle she doubted anyone even noticed she had left yet.

Nicholas

Nicholas was a little shaken when he had received word that Clara wasn’t in her room or anywhere to be seen in the castle. He had ordered a search party to go find her. Nicholas had hoped that she didn’t run away as that would he had for his kingdom and reputation. Even if he didn’t care much about his reputation he still didn’t want his people to deem him untrustworthy, so he hoped she just went for an evening stroll and there was nothing to be alarmed about

Richard

Richard wasn’t prepared for the amount of affection she had been giving him. Actually Richard was never prepared for any affection at all no matter how many times he’d put himself out there, “Yeah...but I don’t want to say anything that might offend or displease you. It’s a good thing I wasn’t too drunk when I found you or else I might’ve said a few things that I’d later regret.” He smiled. Richard enjoyed the time they were spending and didn’t mind that Clara had slowed down he knew she didn’t want to go back to the castle.
