" Do you need a nurse? I can go get one" Tulee offered, unsure how to make Alessa more comfortable. Pound Cake gently rested his head back, falling quiet, " I'm sorry your hip hurts, kiddo". He hated that she had to go through those painful Iron shots, but there was nothing he could do but try to make him more comfortable. Pound Cake's hand and Tulee's were still gently intertwined as she sat on the edge of the bed.

[Boomer]

"I-I'm fine." said Alessa quietly, flicking her tail. Alessa settled down once she laid a certain way. She looked to Pound Cake and Tulee's paws together. She shut her eyes as she held onto Scarlett. "I want to get out of here..." she sighed, "I hate it here."

" I think we all do, kiddo " Pound Cake said, hearing her sigh. He shifted a bit in an attempt to sit up, to see her better " Hey, but it'll be alright. At least you've got me and Tules." He suggested, attempting to find the best things about a hospital, " And they serve cafeteria food. And there's a television. It's not much, but there are a few good things about it" he offered, perking up a bit, " Hey, you can sign my cast once you feel a bit better"

[Boomer]

"The food is the worst." mumbled Alessa quietly, "Have you ever tasted it?" She lightly shook her head, then sighed again. "I just want to go home." she said sadly. Alessa curled up with her blanket, then rested her head on her pillow.

Pound Cake shook his head," Nah I haven't" He said softly, giving an inaudible sigh, " I know you want to go home, kiddo". He didn't know of anything that might cheer up the poor pup. They didn't even really have a home to go back to- with the old house's ceiling caving in, it just wasn't safe to go back. He glanced sorrowfully at Tulee, who gave a tiny shrug.

[Boomer]

"Where are we going?" she asked, "And I don't want to hear 'I don't know' anymore..." She just wanted to know what was going to happen to them. Alessa rolled onto her back and clung onto Scarlett.

Pound Cake rubbed his face, feeling a sorrowful tug at his chest. He honestly didn't know what to tell her; for the moment they didn't have any "real" home to go to. Tulee said, "If you want, you both can stay with my parents- they live a little further away from the coast, so they probably weren't hit as badly by the storm. I know they wouldn't mind hosting you for a little while. Or you both could stay with me- though i don't know hos badly my apartment was damaged ." She offered. Pound Cake gave a quiet nod, murmuring a "Thank you, Tules"

[Boomer]

"Parents?" said Alessa slowly, "M-meaning... two of them?" She was worried about her parents and how they'd treat her. A million questions flooded her mind: What if they didn't like her? If Pound Cake had to leave for work, would they watch her? What if they thought having Scarlett around was too childish? Alessa's paws were trembling as she thought about her situation.

"Yeah," Tulee nodded, " And my two youngest brothers live there as well " She bit her lip worriedly, glancing at Pound Cake. Pound Cake had crossed his arms over his chest and was frowning at the wall. He knew how Alessa was nervous around strangers. Though, Tulee's family were very nice ( to everyone besides Pound Cake) and he was sure that they wouldn't mind taking care of Alessa. Still, it was obvious that he didn't think it was a good idea, but it seemed to be the best option at the moment.

[Boomer]

Alessa looked to Pound Cake with pleading eyes. "D-do we have to go there?" she asked, whimpering a bit. Seeing that he didn't exactly look pleased about the situation, she hoped that he would side with her on this issue.
