Tulee looked up as the doctor came back, " Oh thank you, doctor." She said, still worried about him, " Do you know if he is doing alright?" In all the years she knew him, Tulee had never seen Pound Cake looking so miserable before.

[Boomer]

"He's okay for now." he replied, "I'll let you know when he's out of the surgery." Alessa listened to them talk; she was concerned about Pound Cake just as much as Tulee was.

" Alright," She nodded, " Thnak you so much". Tulee was visibly relieved that Pound Cake was okay, though she was still worried about Alessa. The pup had barely anything at all and she looked exhausted, though Tulee was fairly sure the sedative was partly the reason for that. Tulee wasn't Alessa's parent or Pound Cake's wife, but she did care about them deeply. It pained her heart to see them like this.

[Boomer]

The doctor looked to Alessa for a moment. "Are you all hungry?" he asked. Alessa slightly nodded. "I imagine so." he said softly.

Tulee wasn't particularly hungry because she was so worried. Even though the rabbit hadn't eaten since the day before, she was pretty sure that she couldn't eat anything. But, Tulee knew that Alessa was probably very hungry- she remembered the pup mentioning that she was hungry earlier that morning.

[Boomer]

"I'll see what I can find for you two." he said, leaving the area once more. Alessa was slightly happy to get something to eat, but worried about Pound Cake. She also hoped the food wouldn't taste too bad. After some of the sedative wore off, Alessa looked towards Tulee. "Where... are we going?" she murmured quietly.

" Thank you" Tulee said to the doctor before he left. She was grateful for the doctor's kindness and she was glad that Alessa would be able to get some food. The poor pup had been through a lot today already, Tulee had a feeling eating something would lift her spirits a bit and make her feel better. Tulee looked over as Alessa spoke weakly. " I'm not really sure," She said, her voice a bit softer than normal, " But I know we'll have a place to go after we leave the hospital. " Tulee was more than happy to help Pound Cake and Alessa find a place to stay once they were able to leave the hospital.

[Boomer]

Alessa slightly frowned as Tulee was unsure about their situation. She hated the unknown. The pup settled down once more, then slowly shut her eyes. "I'm sleepy..." she mumbled, flicking her tail.

Tulee nodded quietly," Maybe you should get some rest, i'm sure Pound Cake will be back when you wake up" She said. Tulee rested her chin in her hands, patiently waiting as her mind swirled with anxious thought.

Tulee could relate to hating the unknown. She much preferred knowing exactly what the future held. Pound Cake on the other hand, thrived on the unknown. He was a laid back guy who liked letting the future unfold before him. Maybe a bit of his go-with-the-flow outlook on life would eventually rub off on Tulee and Alessa.

It didn't take Alessa long to fall asleep. She didn't have any dreams or nightmares for that matter. After some time passed, she woke up as her gurney was unlocked. Alessa sat up as she was pushed towards the elevator.
