Tulee stayed with Alessa, worried about both her and Pound Cake. She didn't know much about Alessa's medical condition other than the little bit Pound Cake had mentioned. As the doctor asked her about a sedative for the shot, Tulee honestly didn't know what to say. She wasn't Alessa's parent, but Pound Cake wasn't here. Still, she didn't want Alessa to suffer any more than she had too. " Yes please give her the sedative" Tulee nodded

[Boomer]

Alessa watched as the sedative was drawn up and injected into her IV port. She began to relax and settle down a bit. After about ten or so minutes, her leg was prepped for the injection. Alessa was not totally asleep, but she wasn't really reacting to the alcohol wipe on her thigh. "You want to take her paw?" he asked, looking to Tulee, "She might squirm even with the sedative."

Tulee gave a small nod, watching the doctor with a worried expression. She didn't know how the pup would react to Tulee holding her paw but, the least she could do was try to help her feel more comfortable. Very gently, Tulee hesitantly took Alessa's paw into her own. Memories of the night before made her chest tighten in worry; the very last thing she wanted was to make Alessa more upset. If the pup flinched or moved away from her, Tulee was ready to take a step back so she wouldn't scare her.

[Boomer]

Alessa was unable to move her paw away, although part of her wanted to. She whined a bit as she was stuck with the needle. After a few minutes, the doctor capped the needle, then tossed it in the sharps box. "Good job." he said quietly, "Your adoptive father should be done with radiology by now." He then looked to Tulee. "I believe he'll be in the OR shortly." he stated.

Tulee's heart felt as if would break as she heard Alessa's pained whine. She didn't know how to comfort the pup or even if she could. Truthfully, she was surprised that Alessa hadn't pulled away from her as the took her paw. Tulee looked up at the doctor spoke, " Alright, thank you" She said quietly, still worried

[Boomer]

"We'll try to get her into a room." he murmured, leaving the room to check on Pound Cake's status. Alessa panted slightly as she laid there. She was clinging onto her belongings as she didn't let them out of her sight. Scarlett was the closest to her chest. After a few moments, Alessa slowly moved her paw away from Tulee to set her art supplies down.

" Thank you, doctor" Tulee gave a nod, glancing back at Alessa. For Alessa's sake, she hoped that Pound Cake and she would be able to share a room once he was let out of the OR. "How do you feel?" Tulee asked gently, letting go of the pup's paw. She wasn't exactly sure what to say to comfort Alessa, but she was trying to think like Pound Cake would. Parker does so good with kids... especially Alessa. I wish... I wish he were here instead of me

Alessa tried to speak, but it was just a mumble. She moved her art supplies to the foot of the bed before laying down. She slightly curled up as she looked around the room. She was just too tired to speak or do much of anything.

Tulee quietly sat down beside the bed, carefully watching Alessa. She hated feeling so useless, but there wasn't anything she could really do to comfort the poor pup. "I'm sorry..." She said softly, " Don't try to talk, alright?" The rabbit subconsciously smoothed out her skirt, trying to gather up her thoughts.

Alessa's eyes flickered over to Tulee, then shut her eyes. She yawned a little as she laid there. The doctor from before came back. "Parker is going up to the OR now." he said to Tulee.
