Garviel watched as Saros left, before leaning back in his seat. He stayed in the kitchen for a while longer, before deciding to put away his own purchases. Garviel took the oils and two of the bags of sweets - leaving one on the table for whoever found it first. He made his way back to the bridge, storing the other two bags near the control console, before heading into his own room. After placing the oils with some other nearly-empty bottles on the bedside table, he stepped back out onto the bridge.

Saros was completely absorbed in his little game. He had even put his earbuds in to hear the sound effects, and his eyes were glued to the screen as he shifted the iPad this way and that to maneuver the simulated ship. He would hardly notice anybody that happened to be all by his open door, let alone anyone that actually stopped by. He might have only done shipping flights, but he had always kind of liked the more active and adventurous flying of smaller ships like the one portrayed in his game.

The captain returned to his usual spot, his seat on the bridge. He didn't get much time to himself, though, as a few minutes later one of his younger crew members practically burst into the room, making a beeline for one of the other seats at the controls and lounging across it comfortably. Garviel gave him a questioning look, and the other alien immediately broke into a rushed explanation of why he was here.
"Me and the others were gonna go into the city tonight, go get some drinks. And we thought 'hey! why don't we get Garv to come with us?' Because, y'know, you don't get out much, do you? So do you wanna come with? Or are you too busy? You still babysitting that human?" Once he was done speaking, he looked at his captain expectantly.
"One: Slow down when you talk. Two: I'm not babysitting him," Garviel answered. He was certain that Saros could look after himself on the ship.
"Okay, but is that a yes or a no?" the other alien asked, shifting around in the seat.
"I'll think about it," Garviel shrugged. He wasn't sure about leaving Saros alone on the ship - he could always invite the human along, but he wasn't sure how he'd feel about spending the night in a bar, surrounded by lots of aliens. Aliens who had been drinking.
That answer was as good as yes, and the other alien jumped up from his seat and was leaving as quickly as he had arrived. "'kay, see ya!" he called, disappearing through the door. Garviel watched him go, before leaning his head back against the seat. He didn't really spend that much time with his crew when they were planetside, so maybe he should go. He'd ask Saros anyway.

Saros was kept occupied for maybe another hour of so before the ipad started to lose battery. He frowned. The device was temperamental sometimes. The battery would last for days on some planets and on other he was lucky to get a couple hours out of it. It didn't help that he had multiple things running on it at almost all times. He sighed and rolled off the bed, finding a plug of some sort to charge the device with and then glancing around. There wasn't much else for him to do right then. He supposed he could sort through the boxes more for Garviel, especially since the alien seemed to like a tidy ship just as Saros did, but he didn't want to mess with things that weren't his. Maybe he could try looking around the ship again? He was pretty sure he hadn't seen all of it last time before he had ran into Garviel the night before.

Garviel stayed on the bridge for a while longer - none of the other crew members came in to see him, so he figured they were all busy doing their own thing. Eventually the alien got up from his seat, stretching out his back before heading back into the ship.
He walked through the ship until he reached Saros's room - the door was open, but unlike the rest of his crew, Garviel had some manners. He stopped outside and knocked on the door frame, waiting for Saros to answer rather than just barging in like he knew a few certain somebodies would do.

Saros had still been just kind of staring off into space, thinking of what to do, when he heard a knock on the door and sharply turned his head to glance over his shoulder to see Garviel standing there. "Oh... hello. Did you need me for something?" he asked. He was still in the mentality that when someone came to fetch him it was because they needed him for something. It happened enough on his ship with his crew.
He silently scolded himself a few seconds later. This wasn't his ship, Garviel wasn't one of his crew members, and technically since this was Garviel's ship, the captain could go wherever he wanted for whatever reason he wanted. It didn't sit great with him, but it was how it was. Though he didn't think the alien would just barge in somewhere without a reason...... Saros shifted and turned to face the alien better.

Garviel moved to the centre of the doorway once Saros acknowledged him, although didn't step foot into his room. "Oh, no," he shook his head. "I hope I'm not disturbing you. I just had a question," he continued, placing his hands on either side of the doorframe and leaning forwards slightly.
"Me and a few others were going to go into the city for a few drinks later. I was wondering if you'd like to join us?" Garviel asked. Having the human come along meant he wouldn't have to leave someone behind to watch over him. Although, the captain wasn't really expecting that Saros would want to come hang out with the very aliens who had robbed him. For some reason, though, he didn't want Saros to feel left out.

Oh...? Saros tilted his head curiously as the alien stated he had a question for him. He noticed how the alien was standing in the doorway, leaning forward slightly, and he smiled softly for a moment. It reminded him of home. Of one of his little brothers that also liked to hang off door frames like that. The smile faded though as he returned his attention to the alien's words.
He blinked in surprise at the offer. What....? Just over a day ago, this very same alien was stealing his ship and now he was taking him on grocery trips and offering for him go out with him and his crew? Saros couldn't find the logic in any of it. But...... He figured if he stayed he'd have some other alien hovering around keeping an eye on him -they'd hardly leave him here alone when he very well could take his ship and leave- and the idea of having to deal with that made him frown. And he'd already established he didn't have much to do here on the ship...... and hadn't he wanted to explore more of the planet....?
It took a minute or two of consideration, but eventually the human started nodding, if somewhat hesitantly. Why not go? he though as he looked Garviel's way. "Sure..... if you don't mind me tagging along, I'll come," he answered lightly.

The alien waited patiently for Saros's response. He understood why it needed some consideration. It really was strange for him to offer these things to the human - Garviel didn't even understand why he did so, to be honest. It just felt right.
"We don't mind," Garviel smiled. His crew certainly wouldn't care about Saros tagging along - they got to go drinking, and that's all that mattered to them. They'd probably even end up trying to make friends with him, knowing them.
He took his hands off of the frame, standing up straight again. "Right. We won't be leaving for a while yet, so... I'll leave you to it," Garviel said, although he didn't move away just yet.

Saros nodded and actually seemed sort of glad that the other said they wouldn't mind. He'd hate to be a bother, but he'd hate to stay here by himself even more. He probably wouldn't do much other than sit to the side an observe everyone else's fun, at least not until he was more comfortable with them, but it'd still be interesting to go along with them.
He honestly panicked a little when it seemed like Garviel was about to leave. "Oh....! Umm..... actually... I was wondering if you had anything you needed help with or anything that needed done...... My ipad's dead and I don't have much else to do...." he explained, almost sheepishly. Looking down for a few seconds before glancing up at the alien with semi-hopeful eyes. He didn't even realize he had a somewhat pleading expression on his face as he silently wished for the other to have something to do.
