1x1 Aloy: The Princess and the Dragon

"I missed you too my love." He gave her a quick peck on the lips. He wrapped his arms around her in an embrace, "It's been so long since I've been able to hold you in my arms." He felt Zoe hug him tighter, "Careful love," he winced in pain. "It still hurts." He pulled away and lifted his shirt to revel his scar across his stomach right above his navel.

[Aloy]

"Oh sorry"she said and looked at his scar. "At least it's not worse "she said and picked up her hat and put it on

"That's true." He grabbed her hand and began to stroll through the garden, "Hard to believe it's just three days away. You ready?"

[Aloy]

"I know but I'm kind of nervous though. We both want a small wedding but my father wants it big. I don't like big crowds "she said and leaned her head on him. "What about you?"she asked

"Don't focus on them, all you need to focus on is me, focus on us." He gave her a cheeky grin. "I'm ready for us to become one and to live happily ever after." The two continued to stroll through the garden until one of the hand maids came and retrieved the two of them for dinner. They ate peacefully with the whole Royal family. At the end of the night Brazen kissed Zoe goodnight and a servant walked him to his room which was on the other end of the castle. The next day was spent getting fitted for his suit. Brazen would be wearing a royal blue suit that resembled that of a cliche prince outfit. It was trimmed with silver and had silver embroidery on the cuffs of the sleeves. This took about an hour. The rest of the day was spent over seeing the decorations and making sure they were as the king had requested. The final day before the wedding was spent rehearsing. This was a huge event for not only the two of them, but for the whole kingdom so everything had to be perfect. They went over the steps and the vows a hundred times until it was burned into memory. That night Brazen couldn't sleep, his nerves were getting the best of him. Tomorrow, everything would change. Eventually he gave in to his exhaustion and fell asleep. Before he knew it, the sun was shining through the window waking him up. Today was the day.

Zoe woke up bright and early. She spent all day getting ready. It was now time for it. The big day. Her father soon came and hugged her. Leading her out and down the Isle to Brazen. Letting her go he stood by her brother. Taking Brazen's hand she stood in front of him. The light that was shining down on her made her dress a light blue and the diamonds shining brightly with a blue hue. Her shiny brown curly hair with flowers and small diamonds in her hair. Looking at Brazen she smiled at him

Brazen got out of the bed and put on his suit. He combed his hair and gazed at himself in the mirror. He was almost unrecognizable from the person he was before all of this. Once he was ready he made his way to the grand ceremony hall. The priest and all the guest were there, all that was missing was Zoe. Brazen stood at the alter and before he knew it the doors swung open and all the guest rose to their feet. His heart began to pound as he watched the king walk Zoe down the aisle. Her dress and veil flowed elegantly behind her, her curls bounced as she walked. Her father gave her a kiss on the cheek than handed her over to Brazen. The two held hands and stood before the priest. The priest signaled for the congregation to be seated before starting, "Dearly beloved, we are gathered her today..." Brazen couldn't concentrate on what the priest was saying. All he could focus on was Zoe and beautiful she looked. He still couldn't believe that he was marrying her. He stared into her eyes and watched how they sparkled, he couldn't help but smile. It wasn't until the priest said his name that snapped out of it. "Brazen."
"Yes?"
"Do you take this princess to be your lawfully wedded wife?"
"I do."
"Princess, do you take this man to be your lawfully wedded husband?"
Brazen waited anxiously to hear her speak the two words.

Zoe could't focus on anyone besides Brazen. Hearing what Brazen said and then hearing her name looked at the priest. "Yes"She said and then listened to what he said. Looking at Brazen she nodded and said"I do"

The priest lifted his hands, "Then, by the power vested in me, I pronounce you Husband and Wife. Brazen, you may now kiss your bride."
Brazen didn't hesitate. He grabbed Zoe by the waist and pulled her close to him. He kissed her, making the whole thing official. As they kissed, the congregation cheered. Brazen pulled away and scooped Zoe up into his arms. He carried her down the aisle and out the door. Outside the ceremony hall thousands of villagers met them, throwing white rose petals as they made their way to the horse drawn carriage. The coachman opened the door and Brazen climbed in, setting Zoe down beside him.

Zoe wrapped her arms around him and kissed him back. Letting him pick her up she placed an arm around his neck and she waved at the town's people. Once in the cariage she continued to wave as the.cariaged started to move. She was so happy
