1x1 Aloy: The Princess and the Dragon

"I...um..." He wasn't sure what to say to that. Sure, he felt something for her, but he had never felt it before. Was this love? He stared deep into her eyes. The answer became more clear. "I love you too."

[Aloy]

She smiled and hugged him tightly. "I'll come with you and we can both go on adventures

He hugged her tighter and smiled, but that didn't last long. He pulled her away from him and looked her in the eyes, heart broken. "You can't" He let go and turned around, facing the other way. "Your place is here. Your father needs you to carry on. You're supposed to be the next ruler, and that's what you need to do. You need to think about your people.
Your people deserve better then me for a king. You don't know the things I've done, the pain I've caused. You don't know the true me.
If you did, you would get up and run."

[Aloy]

"brazen I don't care. My brother can rule. "She said and moved to look at him

He looked at her with sorrow in his eyes, "Are you sure this is what you want?"

[Aloy]

"yes i'm sure"she said

[ColorCoffee]

"Well then,let's go." He grabbed her hand and threw her up on the horse, climbing up behind her. With one single motion of his hand he got the horse in motion and made their way deep into the forest.

She held on tight and wondered where they were going

He wrapped his arm around her waist tightly to make sure she didn't fall off, with the other he grabbed the horse's mane. Through the night they rode, the crisp cool air caressing their cheeks. The only light they had was that of the moon and stars above them. Brazen had no idea where he was going, but with Zoe at his side he didn't care. As they were riding a flash of lightning struck a near-by tree causing it to fall along their path. The crash spooked the horse causing it to throw Brazen and Zoe off. Brazen was still holding onto Zoe when they fell, so he broke the landing for her. "Zoe! Are you ok?" Before she could answer a familiar laugh echoed through the forest. "Oh no" Brazen stood up, helping Zoe up as well and pushing her behind him to protect her. "Did you really think I wouldn't find you Brazen?"
"What do you want Kreiter?" the evil warlock that had cursed Brazen and kidnapped the princess descended from the sky. "I want what you stole from me!"
"Leave the princess alone! She belongs to no one, especially not to you." Brazen said through clenched teeth.
The evil warlock laughed, "You fool, you think your petty words will stop me? Have you forgotten the last time you stole from the great Kreiter?"
Brazen's thoughts went back to that day, the day he made his biggest mistake. He had seen a flier asking for a brave soul to retrieve an impossible item and in return unimaginable wealth. Being a master thief and assassin, Brazen had taken on tougher jobs. He had accepted the task. The item he was to retrieve was an enchanted amulet, said to grant the wearer un-foretold luck. The amulet was in the possession of a warlock. It was tucked away in the Warlock's tower, which was hidden away from the eyes of man. It took months but Brazen got his hands on the right information and had everything planned out. He found the tower and snuck in. He found the treasury he was looking for, taking it he placed it in his satchel and made his way back outside. It wasn't long after he was out that the Warlock stopped him. Without saying a word the warlock cursed Brazen and turned him into the forbidden beast, the dragon.
He snapped out of it and focused back on Kreiter. "I won't let you hurt her!"
"Is that so?" Kreiter pulled out his wand and with one flick of the wrist he struck Brazen.
"AHH!!" Brazen was struck in stomach. He fell to the ground clenching his stomach. Excruciating pain coursed through his body. It felt as if his body were on fire. Through the pain he managed to shout, "Zoe, RUN!"

Zoe screamed as she was thrown off."Brazen are you ok? I am fine"she said and stood up with his help. Seeing who it was she froze and clenched Brazen's arm scared. She didn't want to go back to that tower. Seeing a flash and Brazen on the ground she knelt be side him."Brazen!"she said and glared up at the wizard. " What is wrong with you!?"she yelled. She could feel all the rage inside her come bubbling out. (What if she was a witch but didn't know it?)
