Luka was careful in his approach to the other dogs, not sure what to expect after hearing some tension in there voices and the growls not moments ago. By the time he reached the group the tension seemed to have died a little bit or at least the growling had. He could still see muscles twitching in the younger female indicating she was ready for things to turn sour. The older female seemed the most relaxed and her posture caused his to loosen slightly. The male he couldn't get a read on, stopping just in time to hear him say he would take them back to the city. "Why would you help us?" Luka asked carefully, while he'd just joined the group and didn't know the other dogs he knew they were all trying to get home. The stay, however, he didn't know what was in it for him.

Bell stayed silent, letting the two talk while she listened and watched another male walk up making their group turn to four while two others stayed not far off. She snorted out a bit of a laugh at hearing Daggers words, not sure what to make of the stray after the few conversations she'd had with him. "You thought we where here to steal your territory not moments ago, but now you're ready to leave it to help some pets as you called us get home?" She cut short what she really wanted to say but hoped to make her point, while she didn't trust the other dogs here she trusted him least of all.

Keeping his body low to the ground Flynn watched as the four dogs gathered together and talked, his ears perked for any sign that something was going wrong. He took the chance to glace at the other dog not making her way to the group. She wasn't as young as him, but she was making herself small and he could almost smell the fear clinging to her fur. If he'd been at home he would have gone up to her and tried to get her to play, but here he wasn't sure.

Dagger

he scoffed at bell quietly. "well i'm a traveling dog. besides, i'm the only dog here that knows the way back to the city. if you never want to see your family again, then yes... feel free to keep arguing with me." while his mood changes were abrupt and confusing, he did have a point. he always wanted to lead some other dogs like he was an alpha, so why would he pass up on a chance to have his prideful moment. all of the stray dogs would think he was great and a hero to help some pitiful little pet dogs back to their homes. he could tell them stories of him saving their lives from something. now that would have the females all around him. he'd be considered so brave. he smirked at the thoughts then looked back to bell "you do want to go back, don't you? think of how.. how heartbroken they are." he barked. dagger needed everyone in on this if he wanted to be a hero figure.

Dove

she continued to watch from a good distance. she didn't have any idea what they were saying. tilting her head with raised ears,
she tried to make out any words that she could. the collie sniffed the air from afar, attempting to catch any scents from them that gave off threat signals. she sighed softly, dove just wanted to know what was being said. she still felt scared for her life, but was now just ever so curious to know what was happening. she didn't dare to go towards them though.

Sugar

the spaniel raised her brows when bell spoke. the other female didn't seem so keen on the idea. of course sugar was happy with the idea.. being as naive as she always had been, and she'd do anything to get back to her precious family's arms again. dagger and bell were just talking to each other, she wasn't exactly included in the whole conversation and she wasn't talking about anything specific. sugar decided she'd allow them to chat while she laid close by. the spaniel took a few moves away from the group and laid in the grass, motioning her head for flynn to come over and settle down.

Luka listened as the two dogs talked getting all he needed from the group, taking his cue to leave once the two mostly talking started to go at it again. With a sigh, Luka turns back away from the group when Sugar does tossing a comment her way before heading back to Dove. "Just let us know when they are ready to head out, hopefully, they don't take long." It wasn't as if he needed to be told when the group moved, they were all close enough to see one another, but he hadn't said much to the other dog and the comment let her know he was planning to play along with the strays plan for now. Making his way back over to Dove to let her know what had happened Luka kept his head low to the ground. "I think all of us are going to try and find our way back to the city, the stray brute over there says he knows the way back and right now it seems to be the only option we have." He tells her before sitting down next to the female, wondering if she's going to go along with them or not.

Flicking her eyes to watch the other two dogs walk away, Bell is once again left with the irritating stray. "Trust me arguing with you is on the bottom of my to-do list." Bell snaps back, giving up at this point to talk to this dog any other way than with short snaps and low growls. With the others deciding to go along with it Bell decides it's the only option she has right now, to go along with the stray dog as well. Worst comes to worst she can just leave if they don't seem to be getting anywhere, not like she could find the city on her own but if the stray stays like he is it might be worth getting away from him. "Getting back to my family is the only thing I care about. So fine if you can take us there and want to do so, then, by all means, lead the way." She adds at last, already making up her mind to stay at the back of the group for the duration of the trip.

Watching the older dogs from his spot laying in the grass, hopping up when he notices Sugar leaving the group. He watches her for a moment before racing to her side when she motions for him to do so, putting them closer to the other dogs than before. "Do they know how to get him?" He asks carefully, having calmed down a bit from the fear that had taken over his body before. He still wasn't his normal ball of energy, but he was coming out more. Having Sugar there was helpful, since she was nice and seemed to like him while the other dogs just seemed to fight.

Dagger

he smirked again when bell finally gave in. his plan had worked, and he was relieved it did. "i will lead the way, just give me some time to think this out." he barked, then turned away from bell. he walked past the spaniel and puppy, and a little ways away into the woods so that he could think his plan through. if he was really going to get back to the city, he needed to make sure that he remembered the way, thought out the obstacles and he'd try to think out the prey in the areas they'd have to cross through, so they wouldn't be left starving and lost. while thinking through the travel plan, he cringed slightly as he realized something. none of these dogs knew how to defend themselves from wild animals, none of them knew how to catch their own food. yikes..
dagger hoped for the best, and that the pet dog's instincts would kick in quick enough. he decided they'd end up leaving in the morning, that way they could have time to chat, and dagger could have time to hunt a little, and possibly show some of the others how they'd catch food, or at least he could demonstrate. it was going to get dark soon anyways so it'd also be great for them to all leave once they were well rested. he wasn't sure whether it'd be a good idea to warn them about the many threats and dangers that they might run into on the trip, not yet anyways. then they might regret their decisions of agreeing to travel with him.
he headed back towards the clearing in the forest where the others had been. he stepped up to a raised rock and placed his front paws on it. he cleared his throat quietly before his announcement. dagger had the conversation about leaving with some of the dogs, but had to make sure all were aware. "alright, i'll take all of you dogs back to your families..being the generous dog that i am... but on one condition. he barked, the part where he said he was generous was spoken under his breath, but the rest of his sentence was loud and clear. "you need to learn to survive and hunt, excluding the dogs that are unable, of course.. but this will be a long, and harsh trip. i know as man's best friend-" the brute coughed slightly through those words. man's best friend.. he didn't need any humans to keep him alive, but thought this would help his case of his announcement. after a few quick seconds, he continued on "- i know you're all determined to get back to them. we'll leave first thing in the morning." the canine woofed out, finishing his speech. he stepped away from the rock and looked over the other dogs, to see if they had anything to say.
dagger glanced over at sugar and flynn, he wasn't sure if they'd be able to capture prey. the female seemed elderly and slow, while the puppy was just too young to learn. maybe he could manage catching mice though, there were plenty of those in the meadow.

Dove

she felt her heavy worry decrease slightly only when luka came back in her direction. dove perked up a little bit, ready to finally figure out what had been going on. her perked ears dropped when luka told her. she had mixed feelings, of course she wanted to see her owners again. she hadn't had much time with them after being rescued before she was stolen. but then again, she didn't feel comfortable around the others. especially the ones that had a tense posture that even she could see from a distance. "do you think the other dogs are.. threats?" dove asked in a whisper, glancing around to make sure no one else heard her. she didn't want to get in trouble with them for saying what she had said. just then, dagger had stepped up and raised his voice to make an announcement. she pinned her ears back at his yelling, but caught some of what he said. hunting didn't sound really fun to her at all. a soft whimper escaped her mouth as she looked back to luka. "it d-doesn't sound like an easy trip." dove told him, hesitant to go with the group.

Sugar

she nodded kindly towards Luka as he asked her to tell him when they were leaving. "sure thing." the older spaniel woofed. she placed her head between her paws, her brow fur drooping down halfway over her eyes. she was quite a droopy looking dog, causing her to look her age. this definitely showed around her face. she settled down pretty quickly, trying to make sure she'd be rested before the group began to move and travel. sugar had never been the most energetic dog, even as a puppy she was a pleasure and rarely made a mess. of course her energy levels continued to drop while she aged over the years. she kept her head down as dagger barked through his speech. she already pretty much new what was going on from their previous chat. she blinked tiredly after he finished. the female glanced over to flynn after he spoke. she hadn't quite caught what he asked her. she lifted her head, drool following her jowls when she looked to the puppy. "what was that, dear?" the spaniel asked gently. "i wasn't ignoring you, i just didn't hear what you said." she added with a soft smile. sugar was getting older, and wasn't quite as responsive to noise as she used to be. she seemed more interested in what the young pup had to say more than dagger's shouting.
she didn't want flynn to think she didn't want to hear what he said, so she focused on him with slightly perked ears.
