[Happy~]

Alec:
I scoff and stalk off ahead, leaving Zac to deal with her. He complimented her outfit and the tricks she was doing just then. I roll my eyes, he was hopelessly in love with her.

Soon I see the two girls and they wall over smiling at us. I'm surprised when I feel Alexis's hand slip into mine, looking down as she twined our fingers together. Then it came to me, we've been dating for two years. "Hey Eliza." She says, her green eyes sparkling.

I tried my best not to laugh or snap something at Zac. I know he just being sweet I didn't do a lot of dating. In fact, I rarely dated. Maybe a boy friend here and there. My longest lasting relationship had been two years. The guys named had been Hunter. Let's just say his face stung from how hard I slapped him on the day I found him cheating.

I turned to see Alexis. "Hey Lex. How's everything going with 'bae'?" I ask in a teasing tone. I poked fun at her and Alec all the time for them dating. It was mostly because I was just protecting Lex and being the older sister I'd always been. Lex and I weren't real sisters but we'd known one another our entire lives.

Amber walked over. "Come on Lizzy! Give 'em a break. I think they're cute together." SHe knew how much I hated people calling me Lizzy. She just didn't care. I crossed my arms. "Whatever. I'm going to go get into my bathing suit. I'll be right back." And about 10 minutes later I was dressed in my two-piece.

Alec:
I felt a blush rising to my face from their teasing, causing Lex to laugh, "Aw, now you've both embarrassed him." She said. Rolling my eyes I watch Eliza leave, stealing a quick kiss with Lex.

Before I can stop my self I smile at Eliza and say, "That looks good on you, you should've just worn it here instead of the yoga pants and crop top." I felt this slight pull to her but dismissed it, I loved Alexis...right? I felt so confused...

It was odd that Alec was being nice to me. As far as I could remember he had been quite rude and matched my sarcasm and sass perfectly. I felt my cheeks heat up but I pulled the feeling back down. "Thanks. I think I'm to go ahead into the water."

Amber didn't like the water so I knew she wouldn't follow. I ran and dove into the water. It was nice. The beach was really the beach of a lake. Today the lake was calm and warm. The perfect combination making the water very soothing as I floated on my back.

Alec:
I nod, feeling Lex's hand tighten on mine and I could tell she wasn't happy. Zac followed after Eliza, diving into the water then come back up beside her smiling. "I'm sorry Lex...you look good too." I tell her, but I could see she was a bit hurt. "Your always beautiful." I tell her, placing my hand on her cheek and kissing her gently.

In the water Zac playfully splashed Eliza while grinning, "Hey Eliza, I've been thinking...there's a party at Lex's house, would you wanna go with me?" He asks, a bit nervously as he looks at her.

I felt water splash against me and moved so I was swimming upwards to keep my body above water. The currents were strong so it was sometimes dangerous to swim but I never listened to warning for Mayor Mills. I barely paid any attention to Granny either. I did listen to Ms.Blanchard though. She was always sweat. You would think she was Snow White but that’s completely ridiculous....

My mind mauled the question. I didn’t entirely want to go but it wouldn’t hurt to spend some time with my friends. I shrugged my shoulder with thought. Finally, my blue eyes looked back into Zac’s green ones. “I don’t see why not.” I said with a smile. I looked back at Alec and covered a laugh. He had a lot of explaining to do and making up to do as well for Lex.

Alec:
She pulls away smiling and we walk out to the water, but I knew she was still a bit upset over it. Once knee deep I cup my hands and pour water over her causing her to gasp from the sudden coldness. She then pushes me, causing me to fall into the water while she stands there laughing.

Zac smiled, glad he hadn't been rejected. Looking back at Alec and Lex he rolled his eyes then put his attention back on Eliza. "Do you want me to pick you up later?" He asks, "I just got my car fixed."

I nodded. "Sure. I have to go get somethings done though. Pick me up at 6?" With that I got out of the water and dried off. I needed to get studying done. As usually, I just walked home. It was a small town and no one really left or came in so everyone knew everyone. The people to stay away from, the people to be around, the places to go. It was a sort of unspoken system. I finally reached my house and dried off and got changed before snuggling with Clover.

Alec:
I watch her leave the water, I wanted to talk with her and find out if she felt that small connection like I did...but I couldn't risk upsetting Lex again. I knew her and Eliza were good friends and I didn't want to cause anything between them. Zac watched her as well, a grin on his face that he was finally going out with his dream girl. For the rest of the day we hung out on the beach, talking and laughing.

I just waited around at my house. When it was around 6 I began to get ready. I did my hair and put on some make-up. Not a lot but enough to look presentable. Clover stood at the door and whimpered. "Not today big guy. I'm going to a party and I have to look good. I'll make it up to you at some point." I got some tea while I waited.
