Aspen:
I soon fell asleep. The same nightmare entered my sleep, but this time Dawn was in it as well. While sleeping my arm tightened around her as I mumbled, my body heat rising dangerously from the fear in my dream. I couldn't control my powers in my sleep, they tended to get out of hand at this time. Tears landed on the ground as I rolled to my back, my breathing quick.

I felt something wet on my back and snapped out of my light sleep. My shoulder was burning where Aspen's arm was. I turned over to face him. "Aspen! Aspen wake up!" I shook him trying to wake him

Aspen:
I jerk awake, sucking in a deep breath as my body temperature flares up then starts to cool a bit. Choking back a sob I shut my eyes tightly and sit up, bringing my knees to my chest as I curl up. My body trembling as I that night flashed in my mind.

I wrapped my arms around him lightly. "It's okay. What's wro-" There's a sudden loud banging at the door. The guards!

Aspen:
I jerk away from her at the sound of someone beating on the door. Anger and despair flared in me as I got to my feet, "Hide." I whisper, my tear filled eyes meeting hers. "Who is it?" I demand, wiping at my tears so they were no longer visible and running a hand through my hair.

I quickly run a find cover below his bed. The guards just banged at the door in response. My breathing slowed as I watched.

Aspen:
I growl softly and open the door, starring at the guards. "Its the middle of the night." I say, rubbing my face as the nightmare replayed in my mind. I didn't need this right now...

"Where is the girl? We spotted her. We know she is here." He snapped at Aspen in a deep, rough voice.

Aspen:
I smirk, "Don't you think I would know if there was a girl in my house?" I ask, crossing my arms over my chest. "I haven't seen anyone, I've been asleep till you came pounding at my door." I tell him.

The guard glared. "Then you won't mind if we search the place?" My breath hitched. I was going to be found. I steadied my breath again and waited.
