Among New York City lived a guy in an apartment, he had a pretty normal life and it didn't seem to be changing anytime soon until he got a new neighbor. Just down the hall moved in two other guys, these two didn't live a normal life, atleast one doesn't. He's a vampire with a dreary life and a boyfriend that can get controlling at times. But when they both meet, will their lives take an interesting turn or will fear wedge its way between them?

Seth:
I hopped out of the moving truck, walking to the back to open the door. With a small truck with just the basic furniture and about a dozen boxes or so. Folding out the ramp I walk into the truck to get some of the boxes out, Garth follows me and starts to stack boxes in my arms. Once done I had two big boxes and a small one stacked on each other. Carefully walking down the ramp I head to the doors, pushing them open with my foot then follow the signs to the stairs, going up sideways so I could see the next step.

Once on the fourth floor I head down the hall to our apartment, it was suppose to be unlocked and the landlord would be by to give us a key. Setting the boxes down I open the door and head in, setting them on the kitchen floor then head back out into the hallway. Garth was walking down carrying a lamp. He had been stabbed in the shoulder three years ago and it affected his muscles, so he claimed, and he couldn't lift or carry anything heavy. That left me doing a lot of work, especially today.

Seth:
I was caught a bit off guard by the guy coming out of his apartment and offering to help just like that, had he been watching us? "I'm Seth." I say and shake his hand, but quickly pull it away when I hear Garth's voice.

"What are you doing? We don't have time to just sit and talk." He said, a bit annoyed as he walked up to us. I rolled my eyes but he wasn't paying any attention, his eyes were watching Percy. "What do you want?" He asked, crossing his arms over his chest.

"He want-" I was cut off by Garth telling me that the guy could speak for himself and to just stay quite. I crossed my arms as well, looking away from both of them to glare at the carpet and wished a monster would arise to eat Garth, or atleast take him away. He could really get on my nerves sometimes, especially whenever I talked to someone he didn't know or like, which was like everyone. Fixing my dark blue shirt I also pick off some dirt on my black jeans, not liking my clothes to get dirty. I had just bought these jeans and hadn't thought about them getting dirty today when I put them on.

Glancing back up at Garth I then look to Percy. Garth was four inches taller then me and could really make me feel small at times, but I didn't want our new neighbor to think I was weak...espicially when Garth was around.

Seth:
"No thanks buddy. We can handle it." He said, I wasn't surprised he refused the offer but we could use the help. "Maybe he can help with the furniture." I say, glancing over at Percy, he seemed cable of carrying the couch and bed up here. It would help me more than anything since I knew Garth wasn't going to carry much, except the lightest things in the truck. Looking at Percy I offer him a small smile, he was being pretty nice to us, especially with Garth acting like he was. "I could definitely use your help." I say, my dark eyes glancing into his before I look away quickly.

"I said no." Garth took my hand in his, "Come on, we don't have time for this." He said and walked down the hallway while I quickly struggled to keep pace with him, glancing back at Percy and offer him a sad smile. He probably thought badly of us now. As we were going down the stairs I glanced at Garth, "Why did you have to be so mean to him? He was just offering us some help. It would go a lot faster with him, since you can't carry much." I say annoyed and irritated with him. It must have showed how upset I was because once outside he took me by the arm, his grip tightening as he pulled me closer, "Next time keep your mouth shut. I don't need you contradicting me like that in front of someone, especially our new neighbor. Don't talk about what I don't do, I saved you. If it wasn't for me you would have been dead." He growled, his eyes full of anger as he pushed me away then headed into the back of the truck.

Sighing I glance up at the apartment windows, rubbing my arm as I found our window then looked over to Percy's...was he watching us right now? Shaking my head I head into the back of the truck, more boxes being piled up in my arms while Garth just carried one and we headed for the stairs.
