While Thor was trying to be saved, Tony had taken a direct approach to Thanos and reeled back as he was shot in the chest. Straight with the arc reactor.

1..2..3... the arc reactor exploded, causing Thanos to tumble back. The villain was injured now, and temporarily blinded. Tony on the other hand...

His whole life flashed before his eyes. From the start with Obadiah, Pepper, and Rhody, to the end with Loki and Ella. He was Tony Stark. Genius, billionaire, playboy, philanthropist. He had his life, and loved every second of it down to the last. He had known this was going to happen, as Camilla bent over him with a small smile, knowing he wasn't going to make it. "Tell.. Loki... I wasn't... drunk..." he gasped a little as shrapnel started to pierce his heart, he could feel it in his veins.

Ellas eyes widened and her sight flooded back to her and she could tell... Immediately she rushed over to Tony. "No... No Tony no you are not allowed to die" she said crying and sitting next to him a and looking him over and swallowed. It was her fault. Somehow in some way she felt it was her fault. She could have helped them... If only she was stronger... If only she had more power... If only... If only...

Steve looked on in horror as his friend was taken out and stood in the ringing silence.

Thor's world was silent as he watched his friend die in front of him. The only thing he could hear was Thanos's thumping footsteps and the blood pulsing in his ears. Blood, sweat, and tears blurred his vision as he aimed for Thanos the best he could, letting out a large bolt of lightning.

Tony grinned charmingly at Ella, before closing his eyes and taking his last breath, the light going out. It seemed that he was asleep, but would never wake again.

Ella looked at his grin and tears rolled down her cheeks and she was absolutely silent. The world around her seemed to suddenly go in slow motion and she let out a hiccup and whimper. Wrapping around him until he seemed to grow cold.

The villain got shot back into the wall, and growling, he stood up and only got shot back again.

Steve decided to join Thor in trying to destroy Thanos. His anger with Tony being killed had him get close and personal.
