She was sitting on the bed, fighting back tears. She hugged her knees to her chest.

Colin looked at her. "What's wrong?" He asked and went and sat next to her. He was worried about her. He really hoped that she was okay. He sat with her not sure how to help.

She shook her head and buried her face in her knees. She leaned against him after a few moments.

Colin put his arm around her and rubbed her back. "It's okay. You are safe." He said to her. He figured that she hzd a bad dream so he was trying to calm her down. He hoped that it would work. He kept rubbing her back.

She buried her face into him. She looked up at him. She whimpered slightly. She looked at him, she wanted her teddy, it helped her calm down..

Colin kept his arms around her. "Do you want to talk about it?" He asked as he rubbed her back. He was trying to get her to calm down and he was really hoping that it was working.

She looked up at him. She tried saying "I had a bad dream..." She stuttered though as she spoke, steuggling to speak between sobs. She buried her face into him.

Colin held her close. "It's okay. I am not going to leave you here. It will all be okay." He said and rubbed her back. He was hoping that this would work because he was not sure what else he could do.

She calmed down after a while. She cuddled into Colin. She buried her face into him, holding onto him tightly. She looked at him.

Colin smiled a little. He was glad that she calmed down. He kept his arms around her. "Do you want me to stay with you? He asked her. He really wanted to make sure that she was okay. He may not have known her long but he still really cared about her.
