"Of course I will be able to skate. I am g-good at it." He said to her. The nurse walked in and started to explain what was going to be the plan for making him heal. There would be therapy and a lot of other things. He was really upset when he was told he most likely would not be able to skate again. That was all he wanted was her and skating. He sat there silently.

"I'm sorry babe..." Mavis held onto Colin' hand. She stood up and kissed his forehead. "I'll get in contact with your skating partner now"

Colin nodded silently. He had been really shy as a kid. Skating had brought him out of his shell and he really felt like he would always belong on the ice. He was just coming off a huge win and he knew it was a few months until the next competition and he wanted to try to do it. He would do what it takes to get stronger. He at least wanted to do the single skate. He did not have to do the partner skate right away. He watched his girlfriend for a moment. He looked out the window. He could not see the reporters standing on the street because they heard he was there. They were trying to get the doctors to update them on his status but they refused to since they legally couldn't. Colin stared out the window.

She held onto his hand. She stood up. "I'm going to the bathroom." She murmured. As she left the room and went to the front of the hospital to go to the bathrooms, some of the paparazzi tried talking to her

Colin gave a small nod and let her go. He continued to look outside. He felt trapped and he was not sure what to do. One of the members of the paparazzi found out where his room was and went up and tried to talk to him. He just kept asking the person to leave. It still hurt to speak and there was no way that he could ask for a nurse other than hitting the call button. He hoped a nurse would come soon. The man kept asking Colin questions about how he was feeling. He just wanted to be left alone.

Mavis had finally gotten back up to the room. "Leave him alone." She said, quite loudly. When the man didn't shut his mouth, Mavis took off her shoe anf threw it at the man. It hit him in the head. "Bye." She waved at the man

Colin looked at Mavis walked in. "Thanks." He said quietly to her. He watched as the man reluctantly left. He was not too happy that he did not get much but he did get enough to publish something. He went to the office and posted it. Colin looked at his girlfriend. He looked at the tile floor.

She looked at Colin. "No problem." She smiled and then put her shoe on. She giggled slightly. The mans face was so funny

Colin smiled a little at her. He held out his hand to her. He wanted to be close to her. He loved her so much.

She took his hand and smiled. She looked at him. She stood up, leaned over him and kissed him
