Colin passed out on the way to the hospital. He was taken into surgery as soon as he was at the hospital. They told Mavis to stay in the waiting room. After a few hours the doctor walked over to her. "Hello. Are you here for Colin?" He asked he waited for her to answer before he continued. "He will live but he will be here for at least a week and we are not sure that he will ever fully recover. He was hurt pretty bad and may not be able to do anything extraneous for the rest of his life. We will just have to wait and see." He said to her. "You can go see him. But he is still asleep. He is in room 410." He said to her. "Do you have any questions?" He asked her.

She nodded. "Will he ever be able skate again?" She asked.She looked at the doctor

The doctor looked at her and shook his head. "Probably not. There is a very slim chance that he will be able to. It messed up quite a few things and he probably will not be able to lift anything above 30 pounds for the rest of his life so skating would not work with doubles and we are honestly not sure he will walk normal let alone be able to skate." The doctor said to her. "We will talk to him when he wakes up about it. Just call in a nurse when he wakes." He said.

Mavis nodded, she sat in beside Colin. "Hey baby." She smiled slightly and rubbed his hand

Colin was still asleep for a while longer before he woke up and took in a sharp breath. He was not sure where he was but he still hurt a lot. "M-Mav..." He said quietly. He looked over at her. "A-are you o-okay?" He asked her. He was worried about her like usual.

"I am thanks to you." She smiled at Colin. "Are you okay?" She replied

""Good... I am perfect. I am sure I will be able to go home tomorrow." He lied. He knew that there was no way with how he felt. He was not sure he could even sit up with how bad it hurt.

"Youll be in over a week. Quit lying for me." She said, sternly

"Okay... I-I just wanted you to not worry about me. I will be okay." He said to her. Colin held onto her hand.

"Nurse!!" Mavis remembered, then called the nurse. "He's awake!" She smiled. "You mightnt be able skate again Colin." Mavis added
