“Sorry to hear that. I’d need both my eyes to keep up with this little dog.” She Hans head. “I’m Dawn by the way.” She picked up another stick and threw it for Hans. He rushed forward and caught the stick in mid-air. He returned for her to throw it again. She handed it to Thor. “Wanna throw it?”

[Captain. A. Stark.]

"I'm Thor." he said absentmindedly, then caught his mistake. Oh well. It wouldn't be right for a hero to lie to a mortal, would it? Especially when she was under his protection. He was not his brother. "Sure." he smiled, accepting the stick and giving it a throw for Hans. It landed not too far away, which was a relief. If he had used his strength, the poor dog would be running for a while.

"Thor? Like the God of Thunder?" She watched Hans zoom off and smiled at how happy he was. Then she turned back to Thor. "Aren't you an avenger or something like that?" She was way more surprised inside but didn't want to freak him out as she knew he must be murdered by questions every time he told someone that he was Thor.

[Captain. A. Stark.]

He wanted to say that he was part of the Revengers and the Avengers, but decided not to do so. No one knew who the Revengers were anyway, and this mortal wasn't drowning him in questions, so it was better not to push it. "Something along those lines." he gave her a small smile.

She stopped herself from laughing. Maybe he was being serious. He looked convincing. "So did you just decide to take a break from saving the world from crazy things or are the crazy things trying to attack the world taking a break?" She asked as she tossed the stick again. Hans lost interest and was running at Tony now.

[Captain. A. Stark.]

"It seems that the crazy things are taking a break, which in a way, isn't reassuring." he sighed, smiling as he watched Tony run away from Hans. He did know that the dog wouldn't hurt him, right? He had left his brother back on the ship with the Asgardians. At this point, he was sure everything was covered in "King Loki" posters.

Hans rolled in the sand and backed at Tony, playfully. Dawn laughed. "He does know that Hans is a puppy basically right?" She shook her head and Hans ran towards the water and growled at the waves. He snapped at them but backed off, whimpering as a wave crashed on him. He ran over to Dawn. "Hey little bud." She scratched behind his ear. Then she looked back up at Thor. "Who is that?" She nodded towards Tony.

Thor smiled, watching Hans snap at the waves and eventually come back to Dawn. He gave her a surprised look. He had thought everyone knew who Tony was - Tony had taken extra time to make sure of that. "That is my companion, Tony. Maybe you know him better as Iron Man?"

"Oh, Tony Stark. I didn't recognize you without your fancy suit or private jet around." She held out her hand for him to shake. She had thought it was Tony but it was hard to tell from him being so far away. They talked about him in the foster homes and such. Hans jumped up on him and licked his face in greeting.

Tony wasn't too happy with Hans's greeting but managed an easy smile, and reached out to shake her hand. "It's all right, sweetheart." he winked at her.

Thor just rolled his eyes, smiling. Must he always be like that? He had Pepper.
