"A formidable opponent?" He snickered watching as the man had walked around his shop, glancing over things and examining them. What would a prince want in here anyway? He could purchase anything, anywhere for better quality. So why was he looking through his shelves? Inhaling deeply he finished fixing the curtain before sliding inside to find where that prince had scampered off to. "Pfft, a little graze is all." He teased

Alaric chuckled as the heard the man's retort. "Say, I never got your name." Alaric said, looking over the shelves of items once more, only to meet Aspen's eyes. His eyes were gorgeous, mix matched just like Alaric's own. The large male admired the others face; he could feel hints of pain and sadness behind his eyes.

"That's because I never gave it." He mumbled, watching the man look through the bottles and knock knacks on his shelves, as if he was actually considering buying something. A soft tilt of his head as he seemed to stay watching his face for just a little too long. The man was interesting, definitely not what he was used to, the cowering away, the screwing up of their faces, this man had done none of that. It was a nice change.

“You know mine, Is hope at least.” Alaric said turning back and walking down the isle towards Aspen. “It’s only fair that I know yours?” He looked Aspen up and down, really wondering about the man before him. His head tiled as he thought further about this matter.

"Of course I do,your majesty" He spoke, sarcasm dripping from his mouth at the words. "Which do you prefer, Alaric or King?" He smirked, watching him walk closer before snorting and rolling his eyes. "As if you really care enough to know my name." Turning he walked off, smirk on his lips curious to see as to whether or not he was persistent about fully knowing his name, or just following him around in general.

Alaric rolled his eyes with a grin, “It’s depends on the setting really,” Alaric said, hints of flirtation added to his words. His head twisted once more as the kalon spoke and walked off. Hard to get... I like that. Alaric followed behind Aspen, “You know I could always just look at the books, figure out your name and come back to bother you once again.”

"So Kitten then?" He sniggered as he walked off, glancing over his shoulder to see the kalon following along behind him. "You could, but that wouldn't be fun would it." He hummed, one foot in front of the other he walked before glancing at him for a couple of seconds. "But if that gives you an excuse to come back like you said then I won't tell you. I'm sure the Kitten needs some excuse to come back. Can't just come back and not have a reason right? Otherwise, people would get suspicious."

"Kitten only works in the bedroom." The King said, continuing to follow the sly Kal in front of him. The sun was beginning to set and the guards would notice that Alaric was gone sooner or later, as he had never spent this much time in his chambers alone. "Suspicious of what?" Alaric said looking over the Kalon's shoulder from afar, a smile on his face; his voice had a twinge of sarcasm and flirtation added to it. Aspen was right though, Alaric did need a reason to come back, but not for the suspicious townspeople.

Aspen smirked, rolling his eyes at the comment, in the bedroom... Well, that was definitely direct. "Suspicious as to why you're hanging around me." He spoke, glancing over his shoulder to see him smiling, mean king... definitely not. That smile was laced with everything but malice or hatred. "W-well... the townspeople call me Thanatos, but that's not my name, it is, however, all I will give you." He muttered, turning around to face him, head tilting gently as he finally took the man in properly. His strong statue, the words laced with sarcasm and something else, the soft smile and the gorgeous eyes to match. Shaking his head he began the trek towards the front of the shop, purposely shoving past him once more. "Shouldn't you be going Kitten?"

"You should really stop calling me that. You might get yourself in trouble." Alaric said, turning towards the door. "I'll be back once I've learned your name." When passing by Aspen, Alaric's tail brushed Aspen's legs. "You are right however, I must be going now." His eye's now more noticeably glowed, and so did the rest of his golden markings. Alaric's head turned to glance back at Aspen, a crisp smile on his face. "I'll be seeing you again Mr. Thantos." With a nod of the head, Alaric walked out of the shop and slid back into his hood. His owl waited patiently outside and led The King back to the castle.
