The boys had skied for a few hours before finally tiring themselves out 'beyond repair', in the words of Jeremy Screech. They had returned their items to the ski store for the day, and reluctantly made their way back down the road toward the Resort, a little envious of those who were riding on the buses that drove past every now as they traveled the forty minute walk. " Hey, do you guys wanna go out to eat? There's some restaurants in the town nearby, it might be cheaper than ordering room service? " Carver's voice cut through the quiet, his hazel gaze peering sideways at his friends. With a small nod from a rather frozen looking Tino, and an enthusiastic yes from Jeremy, Carver grinned and picked up the pace, eager to get back and get warmed up - and get ready to go get some food.
Finally reaching the resort carpark, the boys hobbled toward the front entrance, being exposed to the cold weather plus the drop in temperature further with the onset of night. As they pushed through the doors of the entrance, exaggerated groans slipped out from all three of the young men, the warm room a welcome feeling to the half-frozen human-popsicles. Hurrying to the elevators, they tumbled into the nearest open space and pressed their floor button. A minute later, the elevator doors opened and Tino led the way down to their room, opening the door so that they could all bustle into the warmth of their room.
Around twenty-five minutes after entering their humble abode, the boys had settled down and gotten themselves ready to head out once again, though they had dressed more appropriate to this occasion. Carver stood waiting in the doorway of the kitchen, munching on a muesli bar as he waited for his friends to finish up in the bathroom and bedroom, staring off absent-mindedly. He wore a pair of thicker blue jeans, paired with a black long-sleeve that fit loosely over his body, with a heavy black jacket over top. He had a thick pair of winter socks and a pair of dark boots. Perhaps in wasn't the most formal of outfits, but he didn't really see much point in dressing up any nicer, considering that they had all decided on going to the town's pizza parlour, which had surprisingly good reviews for what seemed to be a little known place to tourists, something not too surprising considering it was on the far end of the town, out of sight to those who didn't already live around here. He was pulled back from his daydreaming when his two friends called his name, already bustling out the door. Swallowing the last of his bar, Carver trotted after his buddies, locking the door behind him before following them down the hallway and then down the staircase, headed toward the carpark.
Angelo's Pizza came into view after a half hour of driving into town, searching the tightly packed buildings for the sneaky restaurant. Pulling up into one of the carparks in front, the boys jumped out and headed on inside, stopping by the front desk, where a pretty little brunette hostess stood. Instantly, Jeremy was drawn to her, beginning to flirt before Tino dragged him away, muttering about him being a player or something like that. Stepping up to the now blushing girl, Carver smiled. " Sorry about him. We have a reservation under Carver Harrison. " The brunette nodded, and Carver looked down at her nametag; Pauline. " Right, follow me. " Pauline smiled, her face deepening in colour as Jeremy once again drew close to her, " Pauline, what a pretty name. Y'know, you're pretty to- " His next sentence was cut off as Tino shoved him away from the poor girl who was now as red as a tomato, obviously very embarrassed. Pauline led them to a corner of the parlor, passing by many people crowded around the booths and the smaller round tables around the central area of the room, she stopped and waved her hand toward a booth right in the corner, " Here's your booth. You're lucky, it's the last open place in house. The menus are already placed, just raise your hand when you're ready to order and a waiter will be with you. " She informed them before smiling politely, turning of her heels and quickly hurrying off, just managing to escape Jeremy, who was staring intensely after her. Carver shook his head before sliding into one side of the rounded booth. " Jeremy, will you please leave the poor girl alone. " He scolded but a small smile played along his lips as his friends slid into the booth, right across from him. " Hey man, I can't help it. I see a pretty woman and I just can't help but want to talk to her. " Jeremy shrugged, leading to Tino scowling and then shoving his roughly. " Honestly, dude, you are such an ass. It's gross seeing you flirt with every pretty person you see.. " Carver blocked out his friends as they began to argue further, instead focusing on the menu he now held.
