xx♢xxxCarver Jane Harrison
The boys had finished helping Carver pack when Annalise Harrison appeared in the doorway. " Hi boys, I see you're helping Carver finally pack for your vacation. I've been trying to get him to do it for days, but everytime I check up on him, he's just laying on his bed dreaming. " She laughed, but made a pointed look at her son. " Why don't you all come to the kitchen, I've made lunch you can have now, and have a bag packed with goodies for when you're at the resort. "
" Alright! " Tino and Jared both exclaimed, immediately ditching their friend and following Annalise down the hallway, chattering with excitement about both the oncoming trip, and the food. Carver stood up and reached for his suitcase and bag, slinging the latter over his shoulder, and trailed after the others. He placed his bags beside his friends' once he reached the kitchen-lounge area, and headed over to the counter, where his friends were busy wolfing down some cheese toasties. " Oi, leave some for me you pigs! " He growled, but he had a smile across his face. Reaching over his piggish peers, he snatched up two toasties before they could grab them, quickly biting into them to make sure his friends would not try to steal them.
" We should probably get going, " Carver had pulled out his phone, looking at the time. " The flight is in forty-five minutes. You still okay with driving us mum? " Carver's mother nodded with a smile, zipping up a black bag - presumably the food bag - and chucking at the pile of suitcases. " Yes sweetheart, I'll grab my coat and open up the car. Be snappy. " She was already hurrying down the hallway when she finished her sentence. the boys were quick to heed her words, and grabbed their things before locking up the house and putting their items into the boot of the car, and finally they jumped into the car, Carver obviously up front with his mother.
As predicted, the ride there only took about fifteen minutes, traffic not being awfully busy. Once there, the boys said goodbye to Annalise, and headed into the airport. They placed their suitcases onto the conveyor belt that took their baggage, and went to wait outside their boarding zone for approximately twenty minutes before the flight was open for them to board. Once it had opened, the boys quickly bustled in, found their seats, and settled in for the short flight. Time passed quickly for the three, having spent their time messing around and chatting about what they wanted to do, that by the time they had landed, it had only felt like a few moments before that they had been at their home airport. They exited the plane, and proceeded with haste to fetch their items from baggage, eager to get going already.
A family friend who lived in a nearby town had made arrangements for the boys to rent one of their own cars, in order to save some money on the trip. Once they had gathered all of their things, the boys headed out into the car park in search for the car. They spotted the family friend, who were stood in front of an older blue sedan. It wasn't exactly a Ferrari, but it was good enough by their standards. After thanking them and squeezing all of their luggage in, the boys set off once more, to their final destination.
The drive began loudly and filled with singing and games, but soon was quiet, though it took no more than forty minutes, the boys became bored from the limited entertainment and lack of space. So when they finally pulled into the parking lot of the resort, they all sighed with relief, and quickly began to regain their excitement for this new adventure. Grabbing all of their belongings, they hurried into the resort, perhaps more hurriedly than expected, as they had not dressed warm enough for the sudden chill at the mountain ranges. Jared was the one to talk with the man sitting at the front desk, where he retrieved their key cards and lead the way to their room.
