Kaija's eyes fixated mainly onto his pelt. Maybe it was him. She'd expected the mission to be..much more challenging than this. His voice interrupted her thoughts once again. Her response had to be strategic and expect certain reactions. No hesitation could be shown, otherwise he might think it is a lie. She'd learned this earlier on in her life. "Nor am I." She calmly spoke, lowering her posture into a submissive stance. Her tail hung low. "You are from the opposite pack, yes." She fluttered
her eyes to blink out some of the mist that'd gotten into them; she didn't like water getting into her eyes. "You don't seem... hostile.
I'm giving you a high privilege to think this isn't a trick." Her eyes looked away once more.
"Starhowl.." She called. No response at all. "Starhowl! Help. What do I believe. I think i've found the wolf, he wasn't hard to meet..
Oh Starhowl, is my mission simply complete?" Kaija demanded, trying to be calm about this. Starhowl didn't appear, but Kaija could hear her voice. "Kaija, young wolf. That is up to you. I will not always be here for guidance. When a wolf in the heavenshas been a spirit for a period of time.. it becomes a star. One day, when the Star spirits take you away to where I call home, in the heavens when your time has come, you will learn to work your way up to becoming a spiritual leader, and you will give guidance to younger wolves, like yourself." Starhowl spoke. Kaija could only nod.
She snapped out of her 'trance' as quick as possible. It left her.. confused.. worried, but she didn't want to take it beyond that. She sat up, wrapping her tail like his. "So.. what might you be doing at our waterfall?" Kaija asked with a calm tone.
