Hunter x Hunter Part 2

[Ghost Fox]

Aria nodded and then she felt a strong nen power, close by but it was distant, "stay here." She said as she ran put of the house, she was about to yell for cover when she watched all the rest of her villagers were snatched, somehow evening with their guards up, they were still caught, her eyes shined a forest green color which allowed her to control the plants, Aria is special she has eyes that shine, most nen users get like an aura around them but not her, this power is what the chimera ants are after and she knew it, she was giving herself away and she didn't evening know, she tried to use the vains to save her villagers but they were to high, "Looks like the chimera ants are getting smart." She said with a sigh, her village was now a rundown abandoned village, she watched them fly away, she thought it was strange that there wasn't a leader with them. Aria sighed and then stomped her bare foot on the ground, she decided to not look for the lead there was no point, since there weren't any villagers left other then herself and a traveling girl, she went back into the house and made like a hard but easy Mud door to protect them. Aria was silent, for a little while "I failed them." She said looking at Shay, "every single villager gone, taken, and it's all my fault." She said, trying not to cry, she wasn't the type to cry, but sometimes have a weak moment where she does cry.
Aria turned her back towards shay and wiped the tears away from her eyes, taking some breathes, she looked back at Shay and smiled, "I have a Lot to do tomorrow, with crops, I got to plant, collect, and get rid of the weeds, make sure everything is good." She said with a smile on her face, then she started to make some food for them, she took more breathes as she started to have like a mini panic attack, "I was their leader, I was supposed to give them comfort and safety, but all I could do is watch, I never felt so helpless before." She said looking down at her dirty legs and her trembling hands, she was scared of these chimera ants, so scared of them, and she feared that when they find her they will use her fear against her.

When Aria told her to stay put, Shay couldn't help but to take a peek outside and see what was happening. Her breathing stopped for a moment as saw the villagers being carried off by, what, she assumed, were the chimera ants. She watched as Aria tried to save them, but they still got away. She took a few steps back into the house and waited as Aria came back and sealed up the door. She wanted to say something to maybe comfort her, but she was never good at that sort of thing. What was there even to say? 'Hey, sorry your whole village got stolen away by giant bug-monsters!' She had to try something though, she could see Aria start to break down. Shay took a small over to her and placed a hand on her shoulder. "Hey, calm down alright? Getting worked up right now won't help anyone." She mentally hit herself though, that sounded a little harsh. "Wh-what I mean is-! If you want to try and go after them, to save them, you have to be calm, and have a clear head!" Alright, that sounded a little better, she figured. "Until then though, I'll help with anything you need, okay? Just show me how and I'll do it!" Shay says, offering her a reassuring smile.



Colt watched as the other chimera ants flew past him back to the hive, carrying a bunch of humans. He hoped the nen user was still in the village, and kept on his way

Aria took some breathes to calm down “their leader of the group wasn’t with them which means he is hiding somewhere.” She said with a sigh “but we are safe inside.” She said with a smile on her face, she sat there and continued to the soup, she stayed quiet as she worked, so much panic went through her thoughts so much, what could they do about it? Was there anything? No there wasn’t as soon as They get to the nest they are brought to the queen to be eaten. She looked at Shay we have to do something? And then she gave a friendly smile when she finished making the soup she gave some to shay and put three bowls near a cross and some flowers as she quietly prayed then grabbed her own bowl and started to eat it slowly Aria looked out the window from a distance and looked around to see if there was any sighs of the leader or captain of that group of bugs, she felt useless and helpless being hunted down like this was horrible and waste of time. “We need to get out of here, we aren’t safe in the village anymore, the only reason why we are safe in the house is because no bug has ever tried to come in the house.” She explained to Shay.

Shay smiled as she began to calm down a bit "Well if the leader is still somewhere near, I don't mind teaching him a lesson he can tell his buddies about later. Don't mess with us." She chuckled. She accepted the food with a greatful smile and waited patiently until Aria sat down with her to begin eating. She wasn't much of a religion-and-prayer person herself, but she stayed quite while Aria did her things, to be respectful. "But those creatures can fly, can't they? Wouldn't being out in the open be more dangerous?" Unless Aria had another place in mind they could go to, Shay didn't think leaving was such a good idea. In the house they at least had some sort of protection. Out in the open, they just have themselves.

Aria looked at her, and shrugged, "I would think we are more in danger staying here." She said with a sigh, She looked at her, "We have an upper hand though because there is two of us and one of them." She said with a smile. She let out a long sigh, "We need some water." She said, getting up from the ground, she looked at her, "Please stay in the house, I'll be back." She said going out the door, She started to head for the river. Aria took a small path to the river, that wasn't as open as most path, it was like a tunnel, She made it to the River, and she kneeled down by the river and started to get some water in the bucket she brought with her, She kept an eye on the skies and behind her. As she Kneeled there, she thought about if there was a chance to save her villagers from the queen, but they are probably dead now, she wanted to meet this leader of these bugs that took her village family. "I wonder if he actually exists." She said with a sigh.
She stood up from the ground, She looked up at the sky again, "If this leader bug was around, then he would most likely be hiding somewhere." She said looking around the forest, in the tree and bushes. She had someone to protect, she wasn't going to let Shay get caught, she was going to do something right. She started to head back to the village, She had no idea how long they were going to last in the village by themselves, they were better off leaving it and going to another village that the bugs didn't attack yet. The thought of leaving the village, was not her favorite thing to do but she might not have a choice, Her mother always told her that if she had to leave the village in order to survive then to do it. "Could I really do it, leave my village and never come back to it?." She asked herself out loud, she looked up at the sky, looking at the clouds, thinking of her parents, When she tried to save her sister, She remembered seeing a Chimera Ant with angel-like wings, that was the bug that took her sister, that bug drew her close with his wings and then snatched her away to the nest.

Colt got closer to the village and put his gaurd up. He wasn't afraid, just cautious. Many of the villages they've raided have started to fight back, and they had strong weapons with them. He wouldn't be stupid and just rush into a potential trap or attack waiting for him. The nen user in that village probably knows he's getting close and has warned everyone that's left by now. As he got to the entrance of the village he peered around. It looked deserted, but that's probably because everyone is gone, or everyone is hiding. He spotted someone, a girl, standing by one of the houses. "You, are you the nen user?"


Shay shrugged her shoulders "I guess there's not really a way to know for sure unless we stay and find out." She figured. When Aria said she was going to get water, she was a little unsure about letting her go by herself. But if she insisted she stay back at the house, then Shay assummed she would be alright. She hoped so at least. "Hurry back, if the bug leader is still out there it's not safe to be out for long." Shay called after her as she walked out of the house. She cleaned up the bowls from the meal, besides the ones beside the cross. She didn't want to mess with them, in case they were there for an important reason. When she was done, she took a look outside for a moment. She wondered about these bug creatures, and wondered what they were. She had never heard of them before, but they were clearly not something to be messed with. She let out a sigh and silently hoped Aria was alright, she seemed to be taking awhile. Maybe the water was far away? She paused her thoughts as she sensed another nen aura getting close to the village, and it wasn't Arias. They must have been pretty confident, they weren't even trying to hide their aura. She stayed where she was waiting in the doorway, for either Aria to come back or this new person. She almost hoped it was another chimera ant, but at the same time, she'd be happy if it was just someone passing by. She saw someone walk through the village entrance and figured the later wasn't likely. They looked like those other creatures that carried off the other villagers. They, or he, she guessed, spoke to her, and she became more cautious. Why did it matter if she could use nen? "I might be. Why should it matter?" She stood her ground, hoping Aria was alright.

Aria was on the way back to the village she got a lot of water, so the bucket was a little heavy. It was going to take her some time to get to the village, She slowly walked till she heard a male's voice, She got worried about Shay, She dropped the bucket and ran the rest of the way, When she got to the entrance of the village, she could see the Ant's wings, the same wings as the beast that took her sister, She trembled in anger and sadness, her legs were evening shaking, "Get out!." She Yelled, looking at Colt, "A CHIMERA ANT ISNT ALLOWED HERE!." She said, looking at him, her clothes were of the village so it was clear she was the girl he was after, and that Shay was just passing by. Aria's hands went into tight fists. "Shay are you okay?." She asked, looking at Shay waiting for an answer. Aria continued to tighten her fists as she stood there, her knuckles became white. Aria fell to her knees, tears fell from her eyes, she covered her face, so no one could see her cry, She missed her sister so much, she should have done more to save her, There was plenty of time to, But she didn't, she was scared of him.
Aria was taking small breathes, she stood up, she couldn't show fear if she did then that would give him the advantage, But it was so hard not to be scared, he had wings, a beck, and bug-like fingers. She looked at him, standing her ground, She hands her hands behind her back, secretly making a sword with her nen and out of a large rock that happened to be right behind her, it was their holy rock that everyone would pray to the gods too.

Colt turned his attention to the new voice. She was wearing the right clothes that the villagers were supposed to wear, so he figured she was the girl, not the other one. From her actions he could tell she was scared, but trying to act brave. She should be an easy catch, so long as the other girl doesn't interfere. "I won't be staying long, but you will be coming with me. The Queen wishes to speak with you, nen user."


Shay took a step forward when she saw the chimera ant turn his focus somewhere else, and let out a sigh of relief when she saw Aria appear. "I'm alright, don't worry about me." she answered "What about you?" she could see Aria was clearly upset at seeing the chimera ant in the village, but could also see what she was doing behind her back from the angle she was at. Shay turned her focus back on the chimera ant "She's not going anywhere. she's staying right here, and you're leaving." She took a step forward, in both a protective way, to Aria, and a threatening way, to the chimera ant.


Colt turned back to look at the first girl again. "I had no orders to deal with you, but if you insist on being in the way, I can take you both back, and you can be food for the Queen." he said, sounding bored. He stretched his wings out, preparing for either surrender, or a fight. He was fine with either.

Aria stepped back a little looking at them when the sword was done, she brought it in front of her, "I am not going with a monster like you." She said, getting ready to fight. She took little breathes to try to come herself down, this was how she controlled her fear, she couldn't let it show, she can freak out when she is safe. She could hear her heart pounding fast, She didn't take her eyes off of him, "Who are you?." She asked, waiting for him to say or do something, she kept staring at his wings, she was amazed by how beautiful they were, She shook her head, his wings got her sister, but that won't happen to her. Aria let out a sigh before she attacked the chimera ant, "It's your fault that my little sister is dead, now you will pay." She said, as she gritted her teeth tightly, she gripped the sword tight as well. "I've been looking for you. for a long time, to get my revenge, I am so glad you came to me." She said, glaring at him.

Colt got ready for an attack when he saw the sword, since it was clear neither of them were going to go along without a fight. "Who I am isn't important, all that matters is that I take you to the Queen." he replied, staring at her. He noticed how she stared at him, or his wings, for a moment, before something seemed to click and she began to attack him. He defended, not wanting to harm her. He didn't know what the Queen wanted from her yet, so he had to be careful with her for now. "If you wanted to find me so badly, you could have just come to the hive. It's very obvious to spot, and it would have made things much easier."


"Aria, be careful!" Shay called, running over to the two and standing aside for a moment, waiting for an opening to help attack the chimera ant. She didn't want to get in the way, so she would just wait for her chance, and try to study the chimera ants attack patterns; if he had any that is.
