Lucas watched as the ball left the ground and was sent flying towards the net. He hoped to score a shot into the goal, but expected the worst. He cussed under his breath as he saw Wolf barely deflect the ball from entering the net. “Maybe next time,” he muttered to himself.

Wolf fell to the ground with a thud as his team congratulated him on the save. He was glad he deflected the ball, but he couldn't help but admire the strength of Lucas's kicks. The boy is pretty impressive. Wolf ran over and threw the ball back into play and the game continued on. His team gained possession of the ball after a minute or so and Wolf's teammate, Seth dribbled the ball down the field as he went in to kick a goal. He hoped it would go in, but Wolf knew that hope wasn't gonna do anything for the team.

Lucas was still upset for the next few moments, but the feeling went away a few moments later. He realized that not everyone was able to deflect the ball when he kicked it. He got his mind back into the game as it continued, a bit panicked when the opposing team had the ball. “Ah, please don’t make it in,” he quietly muttered to himself. He watched as his teammate, Jason, quickly ran to deflect the ball. He watched as the ball hit Jason’s hands and miss the net. “Nice one, Jason!” his teammates cheered. He let out a quiet sigh in relief. There was no way he was gonna let his team lose.
