James felt the panic growing worse when he felt arms around him, the weight of the bed shifting and it caused the panicking male to lean against Max, and when the other began to speak and run his hands along James' arms he felt his breathing slow down and finally even out as he turned wiping his eyes with the back of his hand, he took a deep breath and nearly tackled Max in a hug snuggling against him with smile, "Thank you..." He sniffled softly with a laugh, "I'm sorry I'm a basket case!" He held onto Max tightly, "I do want to marry you, I'm sorry if i gave you the impression that I didn't." He placed his hand on Max's cheek and kissed him, a real kiss as he held him close. Then he brokw it and his face flushed. "Sorry! That was uncalled-for!" He stammered out a few apologies

Max was so glad when he realized the other was calming down and breathing normally again. He wasn't expecting the tackling or snuggling, but he managed to remain upright as he once again wrapped his arms loosely around James. "There's no need to apologize James. Things happen and it's not like you could exactly control it." he assure the other as he tried to say sorry and call himself a basket case. He glanced down as the other said he did want to marry him and was looking up to respond when the other kissed him. He froze, once again stunned by the other's actions, though....... he couldn't really say he thought they were terrible. He placed a had on the other's cheek in an attempt to quiet his stammering as he began to speak softly. "That was..... c-can we try that again...? I wasn't quite ready for that," he asked with a tilted head and a warm and slightly curious expression.

He just closed his eyes as their lips met, James loved it, for some reason Max smelled like cinnamon. That made James chuckled softly as he broke the kiss for air pressing his forehead against Max's and gazing into the other prince's eyes, "Was that any better?" He chuckled as he ran a thumb back and forth across Max's jaw, a loving smile on his lips as he pushed back a few stray curls from his light eyes. Max loved cinnamon. the taste and the smell of it, so it wouldn't be surprising if he had soap or had asked for some kind of cinnamon snack which would have caused the smell to linger. As for the rest of the kiss, he was much more prepared now and he responded softly but sweetly to it. It was quite nice now that he was paying attention, especially how soft the other's lips were. He smiled as they broke the kiss and tilted their heads together, easily meeting Jameson's blue gaze with his own. "Much better...." he responded, as he leaned into his touch and watched him push at those curls of his. He glanced for the flower from earlier, but was distracted by his words."Oh...... no. [size=85] Max was completely taken aback by the other's words. He hadn't even realized just how much he had helped the other in the past day and a half just by being in his presence. And when the other vaguely suggested that this marriage might work out okay between them....... well, it left him rethinking his entire view on the marriage. He was certainly starting to like the other, which he hadn't expected, but while it wasn't a bad thing it didn't necessarily mean things were going to just magically fall in place and create a happily ever after.... Max realized he had started to zone out and get lost in his thoughts ad he quickly focused on James again, wrapping the other in his arms in a light hug as he leaned into him and humming and closing his eyes as he tilted his head into the other's touch as he played with his hair. "I'm glad to hear that being stuck with me as a husband isn't going to be the worse thing in the world for you...." he teased back with a smile. "And I must say, I could have ended up with much worse for a spouse I hadn't met before yesterday."

He knew this was only the first of a few barriers that stood in front of them but it was a small accomplishment, for both of them. Then Max looked at the time, "If we want to make it to the tailors in own before he closes we really should get moving come on."He pressed a quick light kiss to Max's lips before leading him outside to the stable full of gorgeous horses, James walked up to a silver maned black horse and smiled, "Pick any horse. They're all friendly I promise. They were a gift from my grandfather."He saddled up the horses and climbed up with a soft hum and another soft grunt

'I don't doubt that' Max thought when James joked that he was the best good he would ever get, though on response he just smiled back at the other. The other prince was turning out to be a real treasure, everything about him so far was just so rare and unique. Max accepted the kiss, a little surprised by it but also pleased with it, before following James out to the stable. When the other told him to pick a horse, Max quickly spotted a gorgeous liver chestnut and let her smell his head before he seemed to receive a nod of approval from her as she bobbed her head up and down. I promise Marcel is nice."He adjusted his foot in the stirrup and quickly hotness his horse moving along with a laugh as he picked up the pace, "See if you can keep up love!!"He joked as he turned a bend down the dirt road leading away from the castle. The sound of hooves in his ears gave him a familiar sense of calm and peace as he rode along his curls pushed away from his face as he laughed. Easiest way from him to travel, not having to kill his lungs. He rode next to Max edging slightly forward with a laugh as the dark, silent woods flew by them. "Come on love!" He called humming softly as he turned another end going down the mountain in which he slowed his pace down just because this was a hill. Finally they came to a flat piece of rock which on laid a small but busy little town, people milling about. James hopped off his horse and patted her on the nose before leading her over to where he could tie her up. He walked up to a small building with the embossed words TAILOR. He sighed and combed back his hair, mussed from the trip and he turned to Max, "Ready? Let's go see what kinda suits he's made."He stepped in calling out, Viktor? It's Jameson I believe you have some suits for us?"The old man hobbled out and grinned, "Right this way!!" He lead Max back to a showing room and gestured with a hand

Max hesitated for a second, not used to riding a horse he hadn't gotten a chance to get to know, but then he was nudging the mare after James. He doubted either of them would lead him astray. He laughed as the other called for him to keep up again and just barely shook his head, though he made sure they were never more than a few yard behind James, if even that far behind. When they eventually reached the town and dismounted from the horses, Max was once again looking every which way to try in take in all the details of the town. He quickly followed after James though as he started for the tailor's shop and smiled and nodded at his question. He was quiet as Jameson spoke and as Viktor lead them back to a show room. He looked where the other man gestured and easily spotted the suit that was for him. The pants and jacket were a silvery grey color and the plain white dress shirt was accented by a sapphire blue vest and tie. The exact colors he had requested and so similar to those of his country that he felt a pang of homesickness. but he smiled brightly and glanced over at Viktor. "It looks great. I think it's work perfectly for tonight," he said politely, but also quite happily.
