James smiled at him and lead him out to the front where a carriage sat for the two of them. James opened the door helping Max in before climbing in. He sighed as the carriage rolled off and let out a breath he didn't even realize he'd been holding onto as he leaned against Max with a soft smile, "I can't believe I just did that!!" He laughed as he pulled his diary and a pencil from his pocket and started to write in a neat scrawl in the book, July 17: Max and I are on our way to Casparius! I've escaped the clutches of mumbled parents for a week at least. The feeling of freedom is fabulous and almost a sort of jumpy jittery rush. I love it and I love being with Max. Hopefully the aforementioned situation will resolve itself on this trip. I wonder what Max's parents will be like?! He finished off and closed the book wrapping the strap around it with a soft sigh leaning onto Max snuggling against him

Max was silent as they made their way through the castle and out to the carriage, though he smiled brightly at the other's exclamation as they were off on their way. He leaned back and closed his eyes for bit as he saw that James had pulled out his diary, but when he felt the other prince snuggling into his side he smiled softly again and opened his eyes, shifting to accommodate the other, wrapping an arm around him as he did so. As the carriage continued on it's way, he found himself excited to get back home and to show James around and for him to meet his family.

James felt himself finally drift off and when he awoke again it was because Max was moving his shoulder gently. He blinked and rubbed the sleep from his eyes with a soft yawn. "Are we there already?!"He both seemed to speak and yawn the words as he started to look out the window before turning back to Max blinking sleepily, "How long was I out? Geeze.."He mumbled a few other words as he attempted to wake himself up. Man he was tired as hell...he yawned again and reached for the door to step out and stumbled catching his balance with a soft help and a laugh

Max smiled softly as the other woke up. He was sorry to have to wake him but the other looked cute all tired and sleepy like this. "No, unfortunately we are not. We're in Sadrax right now, a neighboring country. We're almost to the Casparius border though and after that it won't be long before we're home. As for how long you slept...... well, all through the night and about half the day. I would have let you sleep longer, but I figured you'd want a small break to eat and stretch our legs for a short while," he answered as he followed James out of the carriage, reaching forward to steady the other prince when he saw him stumbling.

James gladly took his hand to steady himself looking around the quaint little town. "Oh I like this little town. I'm glad we're close but I feel bad I slept most of our journey together. I could've stayed up with you." He frowned softly as he moved a bit closer to Max and leaned against him as they walked. "So these places are on your side right? We won't get jumped here?" A little boy ran across in front of the two chasing a ball and stopped to look at the two males smiling a gap-toothed grin before continuing after the toy. James smiled softly at the running child and his grip tightened slightlt in Max's as he felt a single realization hit him. He'd always wanted a family but....he trailed off in his thoughts as he watched the child happily take the ball bouncing it to an older man, his father. James squeezed Max's hand once more before releasing it entirely

"Don't worry James. I dozed off for a while to. I just woke up sooner than you. No big deal. And yes. Casparius is a friend and an ally to almost all of out=r neighboring countries. There is one country that is not, and that is simply because they wish to remain neutral, but even so, they do not treat us unkindly." He interlocked their hands as they walked and smiled down at the other as he spoke. When the little boy darted in front of them and then ran off to his father, Max gave the two strangers a friendly wave and received waves from each of them in return before they returned to their business. When the other dropped his hand, he dind't protest though he was just slightly disappointed.

James looked around the city at all of the people and such before they are to a quaint little pub and James pulled Max inside. "Let's eat here! I like the atmosphere."He sat down and bounced slightly in his seat all sadness forgotten at the prospect of trying new food. He ordered a few different things and thanks the young lady who was serving them. James turned to Max taking his hand, "I'm so excited to see Casparius Max. I think it'll be exactly why we both need to clear our heads from the drama in the southern mountains...at the very least it's a break from my parent's thumbs holding me down."He shrugged softly still interlacing his fingers intricately with Max's own and smiled at the prince. "I truly believe we can work this out

Max smiled as James pulled him along into the pub and even chuckled slightly as he saw the other prince bouncing around in his seat. While Max had never been to this particular town before, he knew some of Sadrax's specialties that were served almost country wide and he requested one of his favorites after James ad ordered what he wanted. He thanked the waitress warmly before turning his attention to James as the other began speaking. "I think this will be good for us as well James. I can't wait for you to meet the people of Casparius and my family or to show you all the amazing things we have thanks to all the trading we do. I think you'll enjoy a lot of it. And yes. My country is very...... open, let's say. I think it'll do us good and help us work things out. In the meantime, let's start by relaxing a little and enjoying this food." He smiled as he locked at their interlocked hands and then back up at the prince in front of him.

James smiled gently still keeping his hand in Max's hand as he chuckled softly, "Alright. It sounds wonderful. I'm willing to try to work out what we have. Because I know there is something." He smiled as their food was brought and unlocked his hand gently going to take a bite. He chewed for a second before his face lit up. "Wow this is amazing!!"He chuckled as he kept eating with a soft chuckle and kept eating his food till his plate was empty. He smiled brightly, "That is amazing. This place has the most amazing food, it's fantastic." He gave out a another laugh as he smiled at Max, How's your food? What is it? It looks good."

Max smiled and watched as the other enjoyed his food. He began eating his own dish slowly and was almost done when James finished clearing his plate. He looked up as the other prince raved about the food and smiled. Sadrax was well known for it's cuisine...... At the questions about his won dish, he glanced down at it and then back up at James.This is Pasztecik szczeciński. It's very good and a lot like chicken pot pie. I love it, and I usually have it a lot at home, since one of our chefs is actually from this country. Here, you can try a bite," he offered, pushing the nearly empty plate over to James. There was still a bite or two left on it and Max didn't mind sharing it at all.
