[SpotSong]

Nightstar still rested for a while. His breaths light.

Littlepaw shook his head slightly. "No not quite"

"Yeah" she agreed looking around and sitting. She began to groom her fluffy fur with ease.

[lavender moon]

She didn't move, worried to wake him. Instead she watched the rain pour and pour

"Why do you say that?!"

He groomed his own fur down.

[SpotSong]

Eventually he lazily opened his yellow eyes and gazed around his den.

Littlepaws ears go back slightly and he shrugged his shoulders. "Not sure"

Featherfur watched him a moment before sitting closer to him and helped him groom.

[lavender moon]

"Morning sleepy cat. " She was sitting as she watched the rain still coming.

"What about you? You're special." The young tom was stretched thinking about being deputy

He purred and licked her ears.

[SpotSong]

"Ha nice one" he murmured slightly and stretched out his body.

"How so?" the small Tom asked sitting.

She flicked them slightly and groomed his shoulders.

[lavender moon]

"The rain is still falling. I don't think it's going to stop till tomorrow." She said in a slightly alarmed voice.

"Do you remember Fernstar? She was the leader when we were kits. Well she came to me in a dream and told me that the 'little can do great is protected and prepared.'" He explained

He looked up and stopped as he saw a newly formed stream in front of the make-shift den. "We need to get back to camp!" He meowed alarmedly

[SpotSong]

He frowned. "I hope there is no flooding" he said sitting up.

Little paw shook his head slowly. "That wouldn't be me. I'm much to mouse brained"

Her ears perked up. "Why is that?!" she said worried.

[lavender moon]

"Just follow me!" He jumped up and leapt across the stream and ran to camp waiting to check to see if she was still there.


"I don't know. Who else is little? Not that I like you! We're enemies!" He snapped and batted his nose.

"I think it is. Hold on. I'll be right back. " She ran out into the ran and looked down the hill where a huge river has formed. She ran back. "We need to keep everyone in camp. It's bad out there. I'll watch out for cats coming back. You go out and find the others." She meowed quickly.

[SpotSong]

Featherfur had her ears go back as she hurriedly followed him as best as she could though she was soaking wet and eventually slipped. She howled in surprise.

Little paw backed up at the batting of his nose and tackled him. "Frienemies" he noted.

Nightstar nodded and left her after giving her a kick on the forehead. He disappeared and went looking for his clan mates.

He ran back and grabbed her by the scruff. He ran faster as it rained harder. They burst into camp past Fawnstep

"Agrreeddd" The rain picked up "Should we go back to camp?

Fawnstep sighed in relief while waiting "stay in camp you two!"
