River woke up and walked downstairs. It was the middle of the night. "Alec?.. I had a nightmare " she whimpered as she looked down at him.. "I'm scared.." she whimpered. She sounded on the verge of tears

Alec groaned about having to get up though he did. "What do you want me to do? Sleep with you?" He asked tiredly, rubbing his eyes

She whimpers "please.. I don't want to go back " she felt her lip tremble and tears go down her cheeks. "I'm sorry Alec " she wipes her cheeks with her hands quickly whilst snuffling

"Go back where? TO the bed?" He asked, rather confused as to what she was saying. "We can't sleep on the couch and you cant stay up all night" He stated, pulling her into a hug

Gabbie continued to blush, looking at him. "You're so embarrassing" She joked and stood up. "Don't we have some work to do. I want to help while I still can"

"No with roman. He killed you and took me away from you and made me be with him and I was scared!" She puts her face in his chest whitest crying. She was tired, emotional and scared

"Well that's one of the element's of being a dad. Embarrassing your family " he chuckled "okay okay . I'd like to move the baby stuff into the spare room." He opened the door to an pmpty room

Gabbie tilted her head for a minute, looking from room to room. "What should I do?" She asked, looking at him confused

"Get some of the baby essentials and then meet me back here when I have the crib in "

Alec sighed and went upstairs and reached the bedroom. He sorted out the covers before turning into a wolf and jumping on the bed, curling up at the bottom of the bed

Gabbie sighed before nodding and get some things. She clearly didn't like how she couldn't do much but wasn't about to argue with him
