Matthew caught her. "What are you doing? You know you are not allowed to run in the palace." He said to her.

“Mommy told me to do it.” She said with a giggle. “She said ‘go run around the castle young lady!’”

"No she didn't. Lying is bad and you will have to sit in time out for it." He said to her.

“Yes she did papa!” She cried and hit him. She started running down the hallway.

He looked at Sofia and ran after her and picked her up. "You do not hit people!" He said to her and took her to her room. "You are in time out." He said to her.

Kate felt the need to go check on Matthew and Sofia because she did hear some crying. “I know I’m breaking the rules but I needed to make sure everything was okay...”

"Everything is fine. I will handle it." Matthew said. He was clearly getting really frustrated with the two of them. "Just please stay in bed like you are supposed to." He said.

“Matthew, go get some rest.” She said before she went into Sofia’s room and started yelling at her. She had been at her breaking point with Sofia and she had finally snapped.

Matthew sighed and walked away. He went to his office and worked on a few things he needed to do.

Kate left the child's room after a while and went outside and into the garden. She was super frustrated and thought she needed to relax a bit.
