"She fell asleep on my lap when we were watching TV so I took her up there. Do you work tomorrow?" He asked her.

“Okay.” She whispered and laid on the couch. “How was your day?”

"Good when I got Sofia calmed down. Do you work tomorrow?" He asked her. He handed her a plate.

“No. Do you?” She asked him quietly and started eating slowly. “I’m sorry I came home so late..”

"No. I asked for the day off. I was thinking we could take Sofia to the new daycare and then spend some time just us." He said to her. "It's okay. I know that things happen. I am just glad that you are home now. I need time with you though so I really want to do that tomorrow. We could just snuggle in bed and relax after we take Sofia to daycare. I think we need time." He said.

Kate smiled and her eyes lit up, "Okay, that sounds amazing... but I need a new phone..." She whispered the last part and gave him her phone with a completely shattered screen. "It fell out of my hands when I was walking to the parking lot after work." She murmured.

"We can get that after we drop Sofia off." He said and kissed her. He looked at her. "Let's go relax." He said to her. He wanted her to sleep.

Kate nodded but quickly got up and cleaned all of the dishes before walking upstairs. "You can pick out my pajamas, I don't want to walk to the other side of the room. I'm sick of walking right now."

Matt smiled and handed her the pink silk ones she had. He changed clothes before he went and laid down on the bed. He was tired from watching Sofia all day. He waited for his wife.

She took the clothes into the bathroom and took a quick shower before changing into her pajamas and blow drying her hair. She brushed her teeth and finally laid on the bed next to him snuggling into his side.
