Bucky thought over his answer to that for a moment as well, but his answer was the same as it would been even if he had just spoken immediatly. "no." he told her. and it was true, of course. he didn't have a favorite. he hated them all. they all reminded him that he was trapped; that he was alone and trapped and lost. he'd had plenty of friend before, but they were all dead now. and those who weren't probably wished they were. all would be in their late 90s or early 100s at this point, and he was only alive because of the serum. and he hated it all the same.

zelda frowned a bit hoping for more than a one word answer, but she shrugged it off. "i guess it is kind of hard to pick a favorite." she closed the old book and placed it back in its spot on the shelf. she brushed her hands on her jeans to get rid of some of the dust that resided on her fingers. when she had removed the offending particles she pulled her hair into a bun that rested on the top of her head.

bucky huffed a bit at her response. "yes, that's the reason I don't have a favorite," he snorted, bringing up his legs to sit crosslegged in the chair before he continued speaking, "because favorites are hard to pick." the intention of his words was meant to sarcastic, so he hoped that he still knew how sarcasm actually worked.

zelda had to laugh at how much bucky's voice was dripping with sarcasm. "ah so I see you do have a sense of humor." she stated once her laughter had died down a little bit. her eyes sweep the room once again to see most of the shades drawn, "you know, you should probably open the curtains unless of course, you're going for the vampire look." she spoke hoping her tone conveyed her joke.

Bucky shrugged at her words, "it wouldn't matter," he told her in a matter-of-fact tone. "the sun never shines up here." he thought for a moment before adding, "and it's not as if I ever see anyone, so there's no one to judge me for my, as you say, 'vampire' look."

"see, i never said it was a bad thing, quite a few girls are totally into the vamp look." zelda said laughing as she did move to open at least one of the curtains.

Bucky thought about her response for a moment before a confused look came over his face, "so... what exactly is the 'vampire look'?" he asked her. last he knew, vampires were in books and stuff but there wasn't a specific 'look' they had. at least not that he could remember

zelda thought for a moment. "well, it depends on who you ask, some say that they sparkle in the sun," she rolled her eyes at that one blaming twilight, one of her guilty pleasures, for the whole vampire craze. "other's say that they are dark and brooding."
she laughed at her own statement. "they tend to stay inside without the sun and they tend to wear a lot of blacks." she moved to open more of the curtains.

Bucky was instantly confused by both descriptions, turning to look at her as she opened the curtains, "I've been in here for a while, but aren't vampires bloodsucking faeries who supposedly originate from eastern europe?" he asked

zelda looked confused for a moment. "i didn't know that's where the legends came from. but here they're just kind of the new money makers." she shrugged casually as she finished opening up the last curtain. the snow had slowed a little bit, now just coming down in white fluffy flakes.
