1x1 w/ it.will.rain (Country vs. City)

Jenny was absolutely hellbent on going back in and fighting Liam herself. “I don’t need you fighting my battles for me Rolland. I’m a big girl, and definitely can kick his ***. Let me go back inside please?” Jenny didn’t let people pushed her around anymore and she didn’t enjoy being pulled away before she could finish everything. “Why’s he such a jerk now? It used to be funny, now it’s just rude.”

"I did not fight him. I never threw a punch. He did. I will say though that had I actually fought him, it would not be the first time. I know you are a big girl and I know you could take him in a fight. That is why I can't let you in there." Rolland said to her. "I am not sure why he is a jerk now. He has been ever since he got married and and started bull racing." He said to her with a shrug. "Get into the car. We really do need to get you back so you can rest. I know the time zone is weird." He said to her. He waited for her to get in. "I don't want you to end up hurt even worse." He said to her. He made sure that she could not go anywhere but in the car. He did not want her to get hurt.

Jenny glared at him as she hopped in the truck and more or less slammed the door. Jenny most certainly didn’t like being told what to do. Even as she was talking to Rolland she was looking out at the parking lot hoping to see Liam come out. “Only if you stay out in the barn with me and Snitch for a while. I know that’s the only way your mom will let me stay out there and I think you and I could use some time to talk.”

Rolland looked at her as he got in and started to drive. Liam walked out with Eric and Cass. Rolland nodded. "I can do that. I have some stuff ta do out there anyway." He said and drove to the house and parked. His mom came out and hugged him and said she was glad that he was okay. He told her he won and she was pretty happy. That was until she looked over at Jenny and saw her leg. "What did you do Rolland?" She asked she was clearly mad. "It wasn't my fault. She fell into a hole but she is fine. We're gonna to go to the barn for a bit." He said and started towards the barn waiting for Jenny to come. He wondered what she wanted to talk about.

Jenny rolled her eyes about the foot. “It’s really nothing, Rolland just over reacted.” She walked into the house for s moment and changed into running shorts and a tank top before heading out to the barn. The second she stepped inside Snitch started to kick at the door to his stall wanting to get out. “I’m going to take Snitch, I’ll be back in an hour, don’t tell your mom.” She was careful to only let Snitch out and not Cocoa, she had to use the wall of barn to help herself into Snitch who tolerated her just fine even with her foot.

Rolland looked at her not sure about her going off on her own. But he knew it would be hard to stop her. He sighed. "Fine. Don't go on the same trail as before. When you get to the fork, go right. Then from there, it is a big loop that should be safe. It should take roughly an hour to walk it. If I am not here, I will be in my garage working on my truck and the car." He said to her. "Please come find me after an hour." He said to her. He handed her a walkie talkie. "If you need me before then, call me on here." He said to her. "They will work anywhere on the farm and trails." He said to her.

Jenny handed it back to him. “I won’t be on the farm or the trails.” She reached down and undid the air cast, tossing it to the ground. “I have something I have to do.” She reach over and grabbed a crop off the railing. “It should only take an hour, though it might be a little longer, so don’t get too worried.” Jenny tossed him her cellphone. “Take this, don’t need it breaking if I fall wrong. And a saddle will just make my foot worse.” With that Jenny dug her heels in and tapped Snitch with her crop and they went galloping down his driveway towards town.

Rolland sighed. He was not sure about this. He took her phone and the walkie talkie. He was not happy that she took her cast off. He was worried out of his mind for her. He wondered what happened to them talking. He did the stuff at the barn and then went to work on his car and truck. It was fine until Mary came over and told him that she was going to break things off with Liam and wanted to get back together with him. Rolland was not sure what to say. He just got under the car and worked while she spoke. He wanted to stop her. "Mary, I am not interested." He said and she kept trying to talk him into thinking about it. Rolland kept working.

Jenny stopped at the cemetery where her mom was buried and got off Snitch, leading him to the back where she remember her tombstone being, she laid a couple of flowers from near by and just sat there for a moment, tears welled up before she hopped onto Snitch and galloped back to the house, as she reached the dirt driveway that led to the house she realized it had been well over an hour since she left. Jenny slowed Snitch to a walk and they headed up the dirtway quietly, starting towards Rolland’s garage.

Rolland got out from under the car. He was covered in grime. "Mary, you are married with kids. You may not be happy with him, but trying to date me again is not the answer. You know that our engagement did not work out. That is why we broke things off. You will date me again and then I will end up hurt just like before." He said to her. He went back to working on the car. Mary smiled a little at him. "But now I have kids and want you back. You are so much nicer than Liam will ever be. You are a perfect guy and now I see that I should have stayed with you." She said to him. She walked up behind him and kissed his cheek.
