1x1 w/ it.will.rain (Country vs. City)

Jenny frowned when she saw his face after getting out of the truck. She gently glided over it with her thumb. “We’ll have to get some ice on that when we get home.” She limped with her air cast on into the store and it was like a kid in a candy shop. Jenny’s eyes lit up and she looked through saddle pads, saddles, bridles, and stirrups. She felt each and every one of them in the store. “Which one do you like Rolland?”

Rolland smiled at her. "I will be fine darlin'." He said said to her. He walked with her through the store. "Um I think this one is perfect for you." He said to her and picked up an English tack for her. He smiled at Jenny. "What do ya think?" He held it out to her. He looked around the store and a western tack caught his eye. It was leather with turquoise detailing on it. He loved it and thought that it was perfect for Cocoa but it would be a while before he would buy it. He looked at her. "Anything else you need darlin'?" He asked her. He saw one of his friends come up and start talking to him about the bull riding today. Rolland did not get a word in with this guy but he was used to it. He stayed quiet and listened.

Jenny smiled and while he was distracted she bought the turquoise tack he was eyeing, and just threw it in with the rest of her stuff. “I don’t know, what color would Snitch look best in?” Her riding pants accentuated her curves and her baseball hat hide her face for the most part as she picked out a nice royal blue color. Jenny paid and then sighed as she looked down at all of the heavy equipment, concerned that she wouldn’t be able to carry it all.

Rolland finally was able to get away from the man. He looked over at Jenny. He smiled. "Really any color. Snitch is able to pull off any color without any issues. That is really nice." He said to her. He picked up the bags so she would not have to worry about carrying it all and headed out. He put it in the truck without any trouble. He was used to carrying heavy things. He did not look in them so he had no idea that she had bought him a tack too for Cocoa. He opened her door and kissed her before he went and got in and drove home. He got out and grabbed the bags. "Want me to take everything out to the barn or do you need to get anything out first?" He asked her.

Jenny blushed bright red once more as she looked over at Cocoa and Snitch waiting for them. She handed him one bag that was rather heavy. “Can you bring this up to my room? I can get the horses ready for a ride.” She smiled, having a plan in mind for when he came back. Jenny went and got Snitch and Cocoa, putting Snitch in his new tack and Cocoa in here before waiting for Rolland to come into the barn.

"Okay sounds good." Rolland said and went inside. He was stopped by his mom who asked him a lot of questions about his head and she also cleaned it up and put a bandage over it. He sighed and walked out to the barn and smiled at Jenny. "Hey, sorry it took so long. Ma wanted to look at my cut." He said and shrugged. He looked over at Cocoa and saw her new tack. He was clearly shocked and not sure what to say. "Ya really did not have to do this for me and Cocoa..." He said to her and looked at her.

Jenny laughed a bit, shrugging it off. “Well I wanted too, Besides, I think she looked beautiful in turquiose.” She pulled herself up on Snitch and grabbed a crop. “Are you ready to go or not?” Jenny winked and with the slightly kick she and Snitch took of down the pasture towards the opening of the trails. She didn’t want to make things too awkward for Rolland but she knew he needed the new tack.

"Well, thank ya. It really means a lot." He said to her. He was glad to have a new one to replace his one that was getting close to falling apart. He nodded and got on and had Cocoa run after them. Cocoa was clearly happy to have a new tack and caught up easily with Snitch and passed him. Rolland was trying to get Cocoa to keep pace with Jenny and Snitch but Cocoa had other plans. Cocoa ran down the path happily.

Snitch was rather unbothered by Cocoa passing them, he just wanted to be with Jenny. The pair continued down the path at their own pace, unfortunately slowly losing sight of Cocoa and Rolland. Jenny didn’t quite remember this trail andnjust hadnto hope she was going the right way. Snitch, sensing that she was nervous, because a little worried and came to a full stop. After some convincing he started to walk a bit but he neighed for Cocoa.

Cocoa stopped and turned around and ran back to Snitch. Cocoa stopped running and walked next to Snitch. Rolland looked over at Jenny. "Sorry about her. She just took off and I could not slow her down. I am glad she came back though. He was not sure how else he could have gotten her to stop running. Cocoa gave Rolland control again and lead them all down a path that was new but safe. Rolland looked at Jenny. "How is your leg?" He asked her. He was hoping that riding was not hurting it. He really cared a lot about her and not just because his mom wanted him to. He smiled at her. "I also have this place that we can go to tonight. It is a line dancing place but we don't have to dance. We can just watch and eat food while we hang out with others. A lot of people go there to spend time together." Rolland said to her. "It is normally pretty fun." He said.
