Loki carefully followed her around rubble. Hearing cries for help she rushed over and he was quick to follow. It was a family that had been trapped by rubble and he looked at Aphrodite with a small nod and stepped forwards. He carefully began removing rubble enough that they could just sneak out before anything collapsed. He was focused on the task and sure he Recieved cuts and bruises but he could care less at this point as the family scrambled out. He then scanned the area a bit. Listening for any more cries or pleas for helpm

as soon as the family was freed, she watched as they scrambled off. "wait! i have to ask you some questions." it was a quiet call for the family, but they seemed too focused on getting out of the city that they ignored her request. sighing in defeat, she glanced around a little more, the air was still. her ears fixing on whatever noise she could try to pinpoint— although, she got nothing. "i... say we shouldn't worry about this now. the people of asgard will take notice of our attempts to rebuild the realm, and then that will spark attention." she offered, now turning her head to look directly at loki.

Loki sighed when he didn't hear anything. "Yes I guess you are correct..." he trailed off whilst looking at her. "This will take longer than expected" he said quietly and carefully moved amungst the rubble. Seeing the odd body and hoping she wouldn't notice. "Shall we check to see what still remains of the palace...?"

passing through a grave amount of rubble, aphrodite decided it would be best not to wear a dress. it was too hard for her to keep walking around like an oaf, and it slowed her down immensely. clicking her fingers together, she changed into a jumpsuit that had fit her body better than the dress. "yes, the palace..." aphrodite was silently hoping that the kingdom was still standing. if it wasn't, they weren't going to have much luck rebuilding asgard overall. tightening her ponytail, she started off for the palace, her small legs leaping over piles of rubble that stood in their way.

Loki watched as her clothing changed.... She just seemed to look good in everything and anything. She started to move towards the palace and he quickly but carefully followed. So far it seemed to pretty much be standing which was surprising. "it still stands... Though it looks rather messy" he pointed out

glancing, and observing their surroundings rather quietly; the goddess squinted her eyes to look at the remains of the palace. sighing in relief, she kept up her quicken pace to get to the kingdom. "i'm glad it's still somewhat standing. we can work with this... i hope." slowing herself down, she abruptly stopped to stand outside the broken doorway of the palace. cocking an eyebrow, she started to push her way inside— moving around the small rubble that sat near. "i fear, now that i think more about this... i won't be much help." turning to face loki, she moved a hand to rest on her neck. "i didn't realize it until now, but, there's so much rubble—things i can't move, i'm not sure how i'm going to be able to help you love. i'm sorry." offering an apologetic smile in the dark, she glance upwards to see the cracked ceiling that was barely being kept together.

"we can work with this" he repeated her words as they scrambled towards the palace and stopped slightly to look at the damage before cautiously walking in. The building was still stable and sturdy just... Not in tip top shape like it once had been. He heard her and snapped his attention to her. "Oh no no my love. I don't expect you to do work here... I only wish for you to help by being here... Keeping me on the right track... Encourage not only myself but yourself on our goal" he said gently and out his hands on her shoulders and smiled at her. "I just need you here and that is the biggest help I could receive"

moving her eyes to rest back on loki, she fluttered her eyelashes a couple of times only to process his words. a frail smile had met her lips, and swiftly, her eyes had met the ground. "stars, if you put it that way... i just don't want you to tire yourself out. there's a lot of things here that needs to be moved, and if you seemingly need to take a break— then take a break. we pretty much have all the time in the universe." she chirped, now resting her soft glance back upon loki. humming in tranquility, the goddess moved herself away from the trickster to go deeper upon the palace. entering the room that odin once took upon to sit on his throne was utterly trashed. the throne itself was discarded deep inside the room. "i say... we start upstairs. the ceilings seem to barely hold themselves together."

He smiled that it took her time to process his words and yet she smiled. The relief inside him couldn't be explained when he saw her smile. "I'll take a break every now and then... I promise" he said and smiled as well. Letting her lead as he followed towards Odin throne room. His jaw clenched slightly and he looked back at Aphrodite. "Your right... Starting upstairs seems rather wise. I'll get started on that right away. It shouldn't be much effort if I use magic at the same time"

slowly nodding her head, she observed loki’s face until pulling away. deep down inside, aphrodite only wanted the second floor renovated because she wanted to make sure they had a place to sleep for the nights to come. moving herself out of odin’s room, she started for the staircase. her tiny body made it up the abundant amount of stairs quite easily, and as soon as she made it to the second floor— she halted. the goddess didn’t dare step out onto the unstable floor. “well... i’ll leave the rest up to you love.”
