Naomi was a misunderstood child. She lived in a home with many older siblings, and she was not the prettiest or the most athletic or the smartest. She was intelligent, but she wasn't Harvard bound like her older brother. She was pretty, but not as beautiful as her popular older sister. She was athletic, but not as athletic as her other older brother and sister. Being the youngest, she was also the most forgotten. Her parents ignored that she was bullied, and they also ignored her in general. She did softball and volleyball, but her parents rarely showed up for any of her games. She was treated like she didn't exist. She spent most of her time outside of her house because her parents didn't care about her or realize her existence. She was constantly forgotten, and after she started attending college, she refused to show up to their house. She took the money that was rightfully hers and paid for college. She was from a wealthy family, but years of emotional abuse and bullying tore her apart. She moved out quickly and took control of her own situation. As a child, she discovered she had powers, but she never used them around her parents, or at least, they didn't realize she did. They were oblivious to her abilities, and she did what she needed to do with them. After moving out, she realized life was tough without mommy and daddy to help her pay for things. She began a little shoplifting that soon escalated into full out robbery. Life became colder for her after that. She started working with gangsters and working to get what she wanted and pay for college. She grew cold as people betrayed her and hurt her. Fresh wounds from years of emotional and verbal abuse led her to shut herself off. However, she still has a great sense of humor, and she enjoys playing arond while she's causing mischief.

Christopher's parents died when he was very young. He was taken in by his mom's sister (his aunt), Peggy. She took care of him until he grew older and he began to take care of her. She was his mom's younger sister, so she did date men, but she never married. Chris was okay with this, and when he grew older, he used his powers to scare off anyone who was threatening to his aunt. His aunt is the only one who knows about his powers, and thankfully, she knows he can get out of a situation fast enough, so he doesn't get hurt. During his school time, he was very popular and he played soccer, did track, and was apart of a choir. He loves singing, dancing, and photography. In his spare time, he is still studying to become a pharmacist at a university. He is a very friendly guy, and he considers himself to be very extroverted. He is playful, sweet, kind, and really smart.

Kaytlyn Reynolds

Kaytlyn, also goes by Katie, is twenty years old. She is a villain, and her villain name is Electra.

Kaytlyn stands at an average height around five feet five inches tall with pale skin. Naturally, she has red hair, but she dyes it a brighter color of red. Her hair is very long and mostly straight, but some days it can be slightly wavy. For her eyes, they're a chocolate brown, though when she uses her powers dealing with electricity, they turn an electric blue. Also, when she uses her powers dealing with electricity, it can sometimes cause her hair to stand up. One of her front teeth is chipped from when she was younger, so she doesn't talk much to people she doesn't know, and she often smiles without showing her teeth. Kaytlyn has an average build, and dresses like any other person would. She often wears jeans and t-shirts, simply because it is easy and makes getting ready quick. If it's a day where she has more time, then she'll choose to wear a casual dress, but nothing that draws too much attention to herself. She rarely wears makeup. Kaytlyn has a birthmark around the size of a quarter on her upper right arm, even visible when wearing a t-shirt. She tries not to draw attention to it either. There are a few small scars along her arms, simply from fighting heroes.

Katie lives in her small, but comfortable home with her golden retriever named Buttercup, and works as a writer. Or at least, this is what she tells people she meets. Isn't that what most people are that sit in coffee shops and are always typing something on the computer or writing down things in a notebook? Writers? Most people wonder how supervillains become the way that they are. Really, any superhero could have been a supervillain, and any supervillain could have become a superhero. The situations they go through isn't what makes them who they are, it's how they handle it. For Katie, her parents weren't the problem. She grew up with two loving and supportive parents. The problem was once she got to school. Being the shy girl that she was, people often said things that weren't true, and she didn't know how to stop them. The anger slowly started to build up inside of her, not knowing who she could talk to about it, or what to do. Finally, she decided to stand up for herself, getting into a fight with a few kids until her powers almost killed them. She didn't know how to control them. Katie said that she would prove them wrong. They told her that because she was shy, then it meant that she was weak, and that she wasn't going to become anyone important. She told herself that she would never let what they said of her to become true. Katie wanted to show just how strong she was, and powerful, practicing her powers, and making appearances as Electra. She just took it a bit too far, not only wanting to be known, but to be in charge. Katie knows that people don't really like Electra, but she doesn't really think of herself as a villain, even if she is one.

Katie is different, that's for sure. When you first meet her, she's really shy. She doesn't talk much at all. She usually likes spending time alone, observing people. However, once you get to meet her, she won't stop talking to you. Katie worries... a lot. No, she doesn't worry about whether or not her plans to take over the world will succeed, she always believes in those. Instead, she worries about little things, like if she said something wrong to someone, or what someone thinks about her. However, when Katie is Electra? Well, that's a different story. When she's in costume, she's much more confident. She thinks it's because that since no one knows who she really is, except for her best friend, then she doesn't have to worry about what other people think of her. Katie can be a bit stubborn at times, but that's only when she really believes in her ideas or plans.

Kaytlyn's powers are electricity manipulation and invisibility. She sometimes has problems with her electricity manipulation. This is because her powers will react to her emotions. If she gets really excited about something, then you can see a few sparks of electricity flying off of her. Or, if she is upset about something, then she might lose control of her powers, at least until she can calm down. When she isn't in costume, Katie spends her time in coffee shops, or in her room, writing and drawing. Mostly drawing. She likes to draw her surroundings, and people. She loves drawing people.

Peter Jones

Peter, also goes by PJ, is twenty two years old. He is a hero and his hero name is Oliver.

Peter stands at six feet tall with pale skin that's slightly tan from spending a lot of time out in the sun. He has short, blond hair, with bright, hazel green eyes. While using his powers, his eyes seem to become an even brighter green than they already are. He has an athletic build, slightly on the skinny side, though also muscular from all he does with keeping people safe. When he isn't being a superhero, then he dresses very casually. For the most part, Peter likes to wear t-shirts and jeans. He doesn't like to dress up, and he never really has a reason to do so. Peter has a tattoo on the inside of his left wrist. It is in all black ink of a treble clef. He knows that it's not every day that someone has a music note on their wrist. That is why when he is in costume, he wears long sleeves to cover the tattoo. The last thing he would need is someone to figure out who he really was. Then he'd never be left alone about it.

Peter is the youngest of five, with two brothers and two sisters. His parents both worked, but still, his family didn't have much. Even though they didn't have much, his older siblings showed him how to find the good in everything. He loved spending time with his siblings, and they were all very close. They told each other everything. At school, Peter didn't get the best grades, because it just took him a bit longer to understand things than most, but he worked hard, and passed his classes. He was always popular, even though he didn't try to be. Peter just had a positive attitude, and everyone wanted to be around him. Once his siblings moved out of his house, he had a bit of trouble handling it at first, but just like he had learned to do with everything else in his life, he tried to look at the good instead of the bad. He still talked to his siblings, always calling or texting them to see how they were doing, and he still does so today. Once Peter turned eighteen and graduated high school, he moved out of his parents' house, and now lives in an apartment. He doesn't plan on moving into a house any time soon, because he feels it would be a waste to have a big home just for himself. His family has no idea that he is a superhero, and believe that he is just finishing up college and doing something in the music field.

Peter is a kind, friendly person that loves to socialize. He loves going places where there's lots of people, because he likes meeting new people and making friends. He flirts a lot, with most girls and even a few guys. However, the person he flirts with the most is his enemy. Peter does this for fun, because he's gotten a bit tired of always stopping her plans, so he thought he might as well make it a bit entertaining. However, there's also a part of him that hopes he could change her to be someone good. He knows that it's not very likely, but he still tries. As much as Peter likes to flirt for fun, he isn't looking for a relationship. He would have no time for it, being a superhero. Peter can be a bit too trusting sometimes, wanting to believe there is good in everyone. It doesn't matter whether he is in or out of costume, Peter always acts like himself. He sees no reason to lie about who he is, except to keep his identity a secret.

Peter has an earth elemental and voice manipulation. This means he can control things like plants and other earth elements. Also, he can change his voice to sound like any other person. His voice manipulation power is limited, because he can only sound like someone he has heard before, and remembers what their voice sounds like. Peter likes to sing, and he is a really good singer, but most people don't know about his singing abilities.

➳ Naomi Johnson
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

miss behave | female | twenty-one | tags; ---

Naomi stood in her small apartment and looked in the mirror. She wasn't a morning person, but she felt the need to get this done. Going out in broad daylight was a risky plan, but she wanted to get a head start on the day. Summer break was the only time that she could take her supervillain activities to a whole new level. During the rest of the year, it was the grind of schooling and college. At least she only had one year left after this, but she still hated it. She put her hair into pigtails of blonde and pink strands of hair. She wasn't your normal person out of her villain costume or your normal villain when she was in costume. She made sure her pigtails were in nice curls and fluffed them up. She slid on her tight black jumpsuit and her pink boots. She had an aesthetic to her costume. She enjoyed pastel colors on black, so her boots were pink, her mask was pink with blue sequins, and her ponytails were tied with blue ribbons. She could have been a fashion icon if she hadn't decided to pursue a career in science.

Naomi enjoyed genetics and biology in particular when it came to science. She wanted to one day achieve the ability to pull apart her genome. She wanted to know why she possessed her superpowers and others didn't. Maybe if she figured out why, she could make it, so everyone had powers. She wasn't sure if this was necessarily an evil plan, but she liked the idea of the world falling apart as everyone fought with superpowers. Maybe it was years of neglect and verbal abuse, but Naomi wasn't the sweet, innocent girl she used to be. She wasn't really a killer either, except in self-defense, but she wasn't nice either. She was playful and fun with her rival superheroes, and she had a good time playing around with the city and screwing it up. She enjoyed chaos, to say the least, and her whole life had always been chaotic.

She threw on her baby blue colored gloves and threw open the door to her bedroom without touching it. It was time to go. She had planned a small heist for that Sunday morning. A big truck delivery of prized jewels from some artifact graveyard in Mexico was going to be delivered that morning. Naomi intended to stop it, but she wasn't keeping all the money for herself. She planned to steal it from the government and give it to the less fortunate. This seemed all handy dandy and good, but heroes didn't like that. Taking from the government is terrible, even if they were corrupt. Maybe one day her rival would see it, but she highly doubted it. She walked out of her bedroom and to the window outside of her apartment. She climbed out the window and slammed it shut with her powers before sliding down the fire escape. No one in her building was even up yet since it was early on a Saturday morning.

When she reached the pavement, she smirked and started to make her way towards the bank. She didn't see a point in hiding in her normal clothes until getting near the bank. Her powers made it hard for people to touch her, and she could make force fields by manipulating matter in different ways to protect herself. She felt pretty safe, and barely anyone was walking the streets. She made sure to move quickly though, but not too quickly. Maybe she could remain undetected. When she finally made it to the bank, she checked her watch. There were another 15 minutes before the truck would arrive, which would be at 8 a.m. sharp. She decided to position herself in an alleyway between the bank and another building and wait it out.

➳ Christopher Jones

Christopher was the exact opposite of Naomi. Chris was an early riser, but in truth, he didn't sleep much in the first place. He didn't rest much because evil never slept, and crime was a constant. He moved about his apartment that morning with the hope of collecting his supplies and heading to his favorite coffee shop down the street. He just needed his laptop, headphones, and a big smile. He enjoyed having so much free time during the summer. He knew he also had a job and crime to take care of, but the lack of homework helped create a more peaceful environment than during the school year.

He rummaged through his drawers looking for something nice to put on. The weather was warm, but not humid. It was going to be a nice high of 70 degrees Fahrenheit. He could deal with a nice day like that. He zipped around his apartment using his speed to collect his stuff and get it ready on the kitchen table. He felt accomplished and rushed back to his room to finish getting dressed. He ended up throwing on a pair of khaki pants and a nice short-sleeve plaid button-up. It was red, white, and blue, which he felt was very patriotic. He made his hair poofier as he stared in the mirror and smiled at himself. He wasn't someone who was obsessed with looks or anything, but he did like to look presentable. He grabbed his glasses off the dresser. Chris was not close to being blind, but he used them as a cover-up for his identity. Being a superhero meant making sure you had cover-ups and looked different. He could have probably worn a mask or something while he was working, but the idea just seemed uncomfortable.

He zoomed out of his room and grabbed his stuff. He had to stop using his powers once he left the house though. He wouldn't want to risk anyone witnessing anything. He made his way down the stairs. He greeted the doorman, and he walked out into the street. It wasn't crowded considering it was early on a Saturday morning. This made Chris pleased because he always disliked the big crowds. He passed a beautiful flower shop, and he made his way towards his favorite coffee shop. Upon entering, he noticed a young woman that he wasn't sure he had seen before. Her hair was bright red, and he could see that her eyes were brown like pools of chocolate. He wasn't a huge fan of dyed hair, but he did love the color red, and it suited her perfectly. He stared for a brief second before quickly looking away. He didn't want to seem like a stalker, so he got in line. Despite the emptiness of the streets, the coffee shop was not empty. It was bustling, but he could see a table open for him, and he intended to grab it if no one else did.

Re: ✯ we could be heroes... 1x1 w/art_dancer & nymphadora.

(( Just to let you know, I decided to give Peter a normal name for his superhero name, and I also changed the kind of tattoo he has, in case you were wondering. Also, Peter and Christopher have the same last name... I can change Peter's last name, or if neither of us really care, then we can just leave them as the same ))

- Peter's Point of View -

Having just finished college, and not really knowing where I was going from here, I was focusing a lot of my attention on being a superhero. I knew I wanted to do something in music. I loved to sing ever since I could remember, and I had a great singing voice, or at least, that's what my family has told me. Most of my friends didn't really know that I liked to sing, just that I liked music, and had been in college trying to earn a music degree, which I now did... I just didn't know what I was going to do with it. Being a superhero was like a job to me, but I knew that couldn't be my career. People normally ask you what your job is, and I really couldn't tell them that I was a superhero. I mean, I could, but it wasn't the best idea. I was planning on using the summer to do some research to see what I wanted to do. For now, I was going to focus on keeping the city safe.

With that, I woke up early, eating breakfast, and getting dressed. I had two outfits that I would wear when I was a superhero. They were a forest green color, with an olive green mask and gloves, if it was cold enough to wear gloves. The only difference between the two outfits, was that one had short sleeves, and one had long sleeves. I'd much rather wear the long sleeves, knowing that my tattoo would easily be hidden, but in the summer, it was just too hot outside to wear long sleeves. Reluctantly, I grab the one with short sleeves, finding the olive green wristband for my left wrist. I knew it may not have been a big deal, no one probably would even notice that I have a tattoo on my wrist. However, I wanted to make sure they didn't see it. If people ever figured out who I really was, I knew they'd never leave me alone, and I wouldn't be able to have a normal life.

Once I left the house, I headed in the direction of a bank. I had already heard that someone had seen one of the prettier supervillains that were around here. Miss Behave. She was beautiful, no doubt about it, but she was still evil. I flirted with her sometimes, but I never really meant it. I just did it because it got boring after a while, always having to stop her from doing something she shouldn't be doing. I looked around for a moment, trying to find the blonde and pink haired villain. Finally seeing her in the alleyway, I smirked slightly, walking over to where she was hiding. "Morning sunshine," I call out to her, letting her know that she had been seen. I rarely ever called her by that silly supervillain name of hers. "Isn't this a little early for you?"

- Kaytlyn's Point of View -

I didn't like leaving the house. Okay, let me rephrase that. I didn't like leaving the house as Kaytlyn. Now, as Electra, I could walk around the city all day. I don't know, there was just something that when I was dressed as Electra, I felt like no one could stop me. I didn't have to worry about hiding my powers, what I said to people, or how I acted around them. When I was Electra, people had to worry about what they said and did around me. It was like I had all the power in the world. Of course, I knew that I couldn't be Electra all the time. If I did, then I'm sure a superhero would catch me. So, right now I was Kaytlyn. I liked being Kaytlyn. Since I didn't go to college(I could have if I wanted to, I just didn't see the need), I had a lot of time to write and draw. I didn't have a job, because I got whatever I needed by stealing. I didn't steal a lot, just enough. People never knew that I was the one who stole from them. It's hard to see someone stealing when they're invisible.

Today I wasn't doing any of that. Today I planned on spending the day in the coffee shop, writing and drawing. As far as my supervillain plans went, I wanted to take over the world. Though, I was still working out all the details for that. First, I would just be happy to run the city. I was tired of people thinking they could just ignore me because I was a bit shy. I wanted to show people that they were wrong about me, and that just because I was shy, didn't mean that I was weak.

I didn't eat breakfast, knowing that I was just going to eat when I arrived at the coffee shop. I grabbed a bag, throwing in my sketchbook, notebook for writing, pencil, and a few other things. I also threw in the outfit I used for when I was Electra, just in case. I was wearing a plain black t-shirt with blue jeans. If I could have worn a hoodie, I would have, but I knew that wearing a hoodie to hide my hair would draw more attention than my red hair would. I liked my hair the bright color, I just didn't like that it meant more people would look at me because of it. When I was at the coffee shop, I bought an ice coffee and a bagel, taking a seat at an empty table. I had arrived there early, or so I thought, but in about ten minutes, the empty coffee shop was nearly full. I hated it. I wanted to leave. I was going to leave... until I saw a boy. Considering the fact that I could barely talk to people, I had never been in a relationship before, and I didn't plan on being in one any time soon. That didn't mean I didn't want a relationship, it just meant I knew it wasn't going to happen. I found myself staring at the male for a few moments, who had to be the same age as me, or close to it. He must have seen me staring at him, because he looked over at me, our eyes meeting for a second, until he looked away. Any normal person that saw a cute guy or girl they wanted to talk to would just walk over and talk to them, or even just smile at them. I couldn't do that. Instead, I panicked, and without thinking, I turned invisible. Most of the time, I could control my powers, but sometimes, I couldn't. Now was one of those times that I couldn't.

➳ Naomi Johnson
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

miss behave | female | twenty-one | tags; peter

Naomi was crouched behind a garbage can watching her wristwatch. The truck should have been there anytime now. She huffed and pushed some of the hair out of her face. She could almost sense the truck approaching. It had to be close, and if it was running on schedule, it should have been there in the next five minutes. If she was lucky, her nemesis, Oliver, wouldn't even be up yet. She smirked at the thought and readied herself. At this rate, things were going perfectly to plan. The truck would arrive any minute, and she would take what she could get and spread the wealth to the slums of their "beautiful" city. As she stood up from behind the garbage can, she heard a familiar voice that made her hiss in anger.

Oliver had managed to find her, which was honestly not too surprising. She wasn't the best at blending in, but she had hoped that he would have been asleep. It was Sunday for Pete's sake. Why wasn't he sleeping in? She groaned and turned to face him. He had called her sunshine, which had she been Naomi would have probably made her excited. Naomi was the kind of person who pushed people away, and she didn't often let people in. Most people didn't flirt with her, and most of her relationships had been complete flops. Naomi wasn't one to care though because she didn't need a man in the first place. However, it was still nice to be called a cute nickname, and if it had been from anyone except Oliver, she would have been flattered and a little giddy.

"Well, look what the cat dragged in," Naomi mused as she looked at him. "This isn't too early for me. It seems a little early for you though," she told him with a smirk. As she started talking to him, she heard the truck pull up, and she sighed. "This is ridiculous, Oliver. You gotta let me win sometimes. Maybe I'm doing this for the greater good," she said with a small smile. She used her powers to throw him against the brick wall to one of the buildings and turned around. She bolted for the truck that had just pulled up by the bank and unlocked the back of the truck with her mind. She didn't have time to deal with Oliver, and she hoped that the impact of the brick wall had been enough to knock him out. She heard a commotion in the front of the truck and could hear the sound of guns being refilled with bullets. She concentrated hard on the picture of the guns in her mind, and they exploded into small particles. With that, she jumped inside of the truck and began to gather up the artifacts and gold inside.

Christopher ordered his drink and smiled. He was a very basic guy and preferred a normal coffee with some sugar. There was no need for anything fancy. He didn't like a ton of sugar or marshmallows or anything crazy. He was a basic guy, and it kept his low profile. He wasn't like all the girls on Instagram who go the wildest cups of coffee they could possibly purchase. Once he received his coffee, he looked back to see where the girl with the bright red hair had been sitting. He looked back to see an empty spot, but her stuff still seemed to be there. He looked around and assumed she must have gone to the bathroom.

Chris decided to sit down at a table near the window not far from where he had seen the girl with the red hair. He opened up his laptop and began working on editing some photos. In his free time, he really enjoyed taking photos and traveling. With his powers, it was quite easy to run from one side of the country to the other in a matter of seconds. His laptop was filled with various photos from his adventures and all of the sights he had seen. He took the time to put nice filters on them, but he often kept an original copy as well. The original was always better than the filtered version, but he liked to have one with a filter applied for his Instagram. He did shamelessly run an Instagram filled with photos from his trips. People wondered how he got around so easily at such a young age. People often assumed he must have been rich, but in truth, he was just a man with very fast legs.

[ ahhh. i can't believe i didn't notice that. *facepalm* don't worry. i changed Chris' name! ]

(( Oh okay lol ))

Peter's Point of View

"Oh darling, it's never too early for a chance to get to see you," I told her smoothly, grinning a bit. I knew what she was trying to do, she was trying to steal from the truck that was coming. That would be the only reason why she was here. When she says that I could let her win sometimes, I roll my eyes. "I really can't. It doesn't matter why you're doing it, you're breaking the law. You can't just steal from people." I heard the truck pull up, and I was going to stop her, but I was a second too late. All the air was knocked out of me as she sent me flying towards the wall. It hurt, to say the least, but I wasn't letting her get away that easily. I took a moment to catch my breath, before running after her. "Oh come on sweetheart, you didn't think that pushing me against the wall was going to stop me, did you?" I moved a hand, watching as vines grew from the ground just outside of the truck. One wrapped around her one arm, and another wrapped around her leg. When I finally reached the truck, I said to her, "you know I hate seeing a beautiful girl like yourself get into trouble, so how about this. If you don't try to steal anything else, you can walk away and we can go get a cup of coffee together?" I asked her, flashing her a smile. Of course, I would never actually do it. If people ever saw me spending time with a villain... it'd be bad. People wouldn't trust me, and as a hero, having the people in your city be able to trust you, it was essential. So yes, I was lying to her. If she agreed to come with me, then I'd just take her to jail anyways. I just thought that if I could get her to come with me without causing a lot of damage and chaos, then that would be best.

Kaytlyn's Point of View

I let out a small sigh, hoping the cute boy would just buy his coffee and leave, but of course, he didn't do that. He had his computer with him, and was looking for somewhere to sit. Not by me, not by me, not by- As many times as I said it in my head, it didn't stop him from sitting at a table close to me. I knew it was already dangerous enough to have turned invisible in the middle of a crowded coffee shop, so I couldn't just appear out of nowhere. Silently, I stood up from the chair, careful not to knock it over or bump into anyone as I walked towards the bathroom. I waited for someone to open the door as they were leaving, before walking inside, turning visible again when I knew no one was in there.

I looked at myself in the mirror for a moment, wishing I had chosen to wear a dress today, or anything cuter than a t-shirt and jeans. Then again, why did it matter? It's not like I'd be able to talk to him. I didn't even know how I was going to sit near him without making a fool of myself. I glanced in the mirror one more time, fixing my hair slightly before walking out of the bathroom. I kept my head down and my mouth closed as I walked past the boy, before sitting back down in my chair. I tried my best to ignore him as I drank my coffee and ate my bagel, but it was impossible. I mean, how couldn't I get distracted by a cute guy sitting near me? I finally took out my sketchbook, grabbing a pencil, and starting to draw. At first, it was just a bunch of random sketches, trying to figure out what I wanted to draw. A small drawing of a coffee cup, one of a cool lamp that was sitting on one of the tables, another was a drawing of the man that had taken my order.

Flipping to the next page of my book, I finally decided to just draw the coffee shop. All of my previous drawings had been of things in the coffee shop, so why not just draw it? I kept my drawings light, knowing it would be easier to erase things that way. I started with the tables first, then adding in the chairs, and eventually the people, including the cute boy sitting near me. I tried not to look at him too much as I added him into my drawing, hoping that he wouldn't be able to feel me staring at him. It was already awkward enough, the way I had stared at him when he had walked in here, I didn't need him to see me staring at him anymore. There was a part of me that wanted to talk to him, but at the same time, I knew it'd only come out as me stumbling all over my words. That's what happened to Kaytlyn. No matter how hard she tried, she just couldn't seem to have a normal conversation with someone. Now, Electra? Well, she couldn't have normal conversation either, because people saw her as a villain, but she could say what she wanted, and didn't worry about what other people thought of her.

Naomi cursed as she felt the familiar sensation of vines wrapping around her arm and leg. She looked at Oliver with cold eyes and bit her lip. "You realize this does nothing, right? You holding back my arms and legs doesn't stop my abilities. It has to do with my mind, not my arms and legs," she taunted. She was then caught off guard by his proposal. Going out for coffee? He had to be kidding, right? They were mortal enemies; the whole idea seemed preposterous. She smirked a bit and decided to play his game. "Sure, I would love to go out for coffee with you. It would be a real treat, wouldn't it?" she teased. The young villain laughed a bit. "Before we consider dates though, you should really take care of the issue outside," she told him with a laugh. A billboard on one of the nearby buildings dislocated with the use of Naomi's powers, and it began to fall towards the ground. She knew that he could use vines or something to save the civilians below, but then she would have time to get away while he did.

Naomi detected that he was probably conflicted, but she knew he would make the right choice in the end. She made one of the sharper artifacts fly towards her and cut her loose from the vines. The artifact managed to cut her arm and leg as well because of her sloppiness, but that was a problem for another time. She would just have to stitch her suit up once she got home, but first, she was going to need some money to buy some more thread. The rest of the money could go to an orphanage or something, but now she needed the new thread to fix her suit. She ripped a folded bag out of a small pocket in her suit and began to stuff it with artifacts and gold. She could hear the sirens in the distance, and she knew she was going to need to act fast. She didn't have everything that she had wanted to get, but it would have to do.

"See ya later, Oliver," she called as she jumped out of the truck with a sixth of what had been inside. She ran down the alleyway she had hidden in and headed towards anywhere. She would be easy to spot, and she was going to need to change for work anyways. She had to make it back to her apartment as soon as possible without getting caught. Luckily, she found herself outside a clothing store rushed inside to find a change of clothes. The woman working at the counter started freaking out, but she moved the woman into a closet and locked it. She didn't have time to deal with her. She destroyed all the cameras in the store, so there could be no evidence of who she really was, and she quickly changed into a cold shoulder blue blouse and jeans. She let her hair out of the pigtails and grabbed a designer backpack. The young villain quickly stuffed all of the gold and her suit into the designer bag. As she ran by the counter, she felt a little guilty, and she took a few of the gold pieces out and threw them on the counter. It probably wouldn't pay for everything she had stolen or destroyed, but it was a start.

Christopher noticed the girl with the bright red hair exit from the background. He figured that's where she had been. He gave her a small smile and began to sip his coffee. He continued to go through editing photos, and he couldn't help but glance over at the beautiful girl only a few tables over. Her red hair was very bright, and it made her stand out in any crowd. Chris wasn't complaining though. She had a beautiful face with deep chocolate eyes. He tried to keep his eyes off of her though. He didn't want to seem like a creep, but he did think she was pretty.

After some time of sitting on his laptop editing photos and working, he found himself getting bored. He took one more sip of his coffee and turned over to where she was sitting. There was an empty table in between them. He didn't want to move away from the window because he had been lucky enough to snag a window seat, but he also wanted to talk to the girl. In moments, the young man moved over to the other table leaving his stuff at the window seat. "Hey," he said to her casually. He could see that she was sketching, and he decided that would be a good conversation starter. "I couldn't help but notice that you seemed to be sketching something, and well, I've always liked art, so I just wanted to see what you were up to," he spoke gently with a nice smile. He was a little awkward, but he had charisma in him too. He could be charming if he really tried. He just hoped he didn't seem too forward or like a creep for trying to make conversation with her.

(( It's okay, I hope everything is alright. Sorry mine took so long, I had a busy week this week ))

Peter's Point of View

Of course I knew that it wouldn't stop her powers. Her powers, like mine, like most powers really, were controlled with her mind. Moving my hands while controlling vines or plants made it easier for me to control them, but I could do it without the hand motions if I ever needed to do so. It was just more difficult. I had dealt with her enough times to know that she had telekinesis, so sure, she could still steal things by using her mind, but she couldn't get away with her legs tangled up in vines. I didn't respond to her as I focused on keeping the vines strong and making sure that she couldn't escape them. I thought I had everything under control, but apparently, I didn't. I watched as she used her powers to cause the billboard to start falling, and I cursed. I knew that I couldn't let those people die but saving them would mean that she'd probably escape. Oh, I hoped that she knew I wasn't letting her get away with this. Even if she ran off with some stolen gold, I'd make sure to stop her next time, and that she'd pay for all that she has done.

I sent a few more vines to wrap around her, hoping they'd be enough to hold her while I stopped the billboard from falling. Knowing it'd be the easiest and quickest way to stop it from falling, I grew a few tall vines underneath the billboard, wrapping it around the billboard so it stopped falling. It was now just above the people, only the vines keeping it from falling onto them, so I quickly yelled to them that they needed to move. I knew I couldn't keep it like that forever, and as soon as everyone was out of the way, I let it drop to the ground, the vines disappearing back into the ground as well. I looked over at where the female had once been, but she was gone now. I couldn't focus on two things at once, so while I was saving those people, the vines around her had weakened. I let out a sigh, frustrated that she had escaped. People came over to thank me for saving them, telling me that I was a hero, but I didn't feel like one. I wasn't able to stop her, and now she was gone.

Kaytlyn's Point of View

He must have been able to tell that I was staring at him. That was the only reason why he'd think to even look over at me. He probably thought I was weird. As I glanced up from my paper, I notice him smile at me, and I smile back at him a little, my lips still together. I don't open my mouth. I didn't want him to see my teeth. It's not that they all looked terrible, just the one was chipped from getting hurt when I was younger. It just had to be in the front. People always talked to me about it, or if they didn't they just stared at my mouth. I hated when people did that. So I just didn't talk, and I kept my mouth closed. Most people didn't try to talk to me, so I didn't have to worry about talking back to them. Most people didn't talk to me... but now this boy was trying.

I looked up at him as I saw that he moved to a table that was closer to me. I couldn't believe that he was actually talking to me. He seemed like one of those popular guys from school that would never even look at girls like me. Maybe it was the red hair. I knew it confused people because I acted all shy, but usually people who were extroverted or liked attention would only think to dye their hair such a bright color. As he said hi to me, I simply waved to him, looking back down at the paper. He was really cute, and I wanted to talk to him, but I knew the second words started coming out of my mouth, I'd scare him away. That's usually what happened. I stumbled over my words and say things that I didn't mean to say, and people couldn't understand me. I was hoping that he was done talking to me, but at the same time, I didn't want him to leave. He asked me what I was drawing. I had continued to draw while he was talking to me, but I now moved away from the paper, putting down my pencil. I turned the picture towards him of the unfinished coffee shop, hoping he wouldn't recognize himself in it. It would be hard not to notice him though. He was right in the front, with more details already added to him than most of the other people sitting in the small coffee shop.
