Alessa looked to the clock as it was just now turning to 9 AM. She frowned a little as she looked out the window. "C-can I have a hug before you go?" she asked softly, turning back to Catherine. She just wanted some reassurance.

[Tigme]

Catherine almost felt their heart tear in two as Alessa spoke. They knew the pup wasn't much on physical contact, and they felt touched by her words. They leaned over to give her a hug, "Don't worry," They spoke, I'll stay as long as they let me."

[Boomer]

Alessa clung to Catherine for several seconds before finally letting them go. The nurse from before stepped into the room. "The psychologist is here..." she said softly. She stepped aside to let them enter the room.

[Tigme]

Catherine moved back to the chair as Alessa let go. When the nurse came in, they soon saw the psychologist behind her. It was a man, but he seemed friendly enough. His demeanor made them wonder if he had meant to work with kids, but they knew not to judge a book by it's cover. The psychologist stepped into the room, "My name is Dr. Gregory Huang, but you can call me Greg if you would like." He looked to Alessa, "You must be Alessa, am I correct? I've heard quite a bit about you."

[Boomer]

Alessa watched the doctor enter the room. She studied his demeanor and stance, making sure he wasn't going to suddenly strike her. Alessa then remembered she couldn't use her telekinesis with the collar still around her neck. Something about him reminded her of Kaufmann, but she kept silent about her feeling. "Y-yes sir." she answered timidly. Alessa clutched onto Scarlett as if her life depended on it.

[Tigme]

Catherine looked over to see just how nervous Alessa was with this new man. They couldn't lie, he didn't seem like the right kind of person to be a psychologist, but they could only hope for the best, "Quite a lot has happened to you," He said, "I know it will be difficult to talk about, but I can promise you I'm only here to help." He turned to Catherine, "And you are her caretaker?" Catherine nodded, "Foster. I've been taking care of her since near the beginning of Summer." Gregory nodded, "Well, as a foster, then I assume you know what we usually do here. If you may." Catherine hesitated before looking to Alessa, "Don't worry, he won't hurt you." They said, and stood up.

[Boomer]

Alessa pinned her ears back as Catherine stood up to leave. Internally she was screaming for Catherine to stay, but she knew that they couldn't stay. She glanced over to Gregory once Catherine left the room. "Catherine didn't do it..." she whispered, "They'd n-never hurt me. I-I don't want to t-talk about what happened." Alessa was still nervous even thinking about her mother. She always believed if she thought too much about her mother, that she could somehow find her.

[Tigme]

Doctor Gregory watched intently how Alessa reacted as Catherine left the room. He listened closely as she spoke, "I believe you," He said, taking the chair that Catherine bad been sitting in, and moved it a few feet away before sitting down, "But it'll take some people more convincing to believe it." He leaned back in his seat, "Take your time."

[Boomer]

"D-do those people think I'm lying?" she asked, becoming defensive, "I don't lie. Lying is bad and bad girls deserve to be punished." Her eyes and tone seemed to go dark when she uttered the last sentence. It was almost as if she were channeling her mother. Alessa stared at her blanket for a moment before she blinked. Her eyes seemed to return to normal. "Catherine is innocent and she's guilty." said Alessa quietly. She refused to utter Dahlia's name; she barely liked to even say "mother".

[Tigme]

"And who told you bad girls deserve to be punished?" Gregory asked, "Was it who you called "she" or Catherine?" He used the same context that she had, studying her expression as he spoke, "And this "she"... are you okay with sharing who you're talking about?"
