[Boomer]

"Oh! I guess I should've asked if it liked its name..." said Alessa quietly, "Or if it already has a name." She bent down as well and gave a gentle smile to the plant. "I promise to give you whatever you want." she said.

[Tigme]

"Plants don't really have names, at least not in the way we do." Catherine said, "Their language isn't an exact translation with ours, so many of what they say makes no sense to us, and vice versa."

[Boomer]

"Oh, you're right..." she murmured, "Still, I'll talk to Plum. I'd hate for him to get lonely without his plant friends." She understood that Plum wouldn't respond to her and she was okay with it; Scarlett liked to be quiet at times. Alessa sat on her bed and clung onto Scarlett. "Scarlett says she likes Plum too." she informed Catherine.

[Tigme]

Catherine smiled, "Talking to plants do help them grow, and I'm glad both you and Scarlett enjoy it so much. I know you'll do a great job caring for it."

[Boomer]

Alessa felt warm and fuzzy inside; she craved praise and wanted to prove that she could do something good and right. "Do you think we could work on telling time?" she asked, "I was just thinking about it."

[Tigme]

(I just realized? Is this still the same day she got out of the hospital?)

"We can work on that," Catherine said, "Although, why not we rest for the rest of today? It's starting to get a bit late, anyways."

[Boomer]

Alessa slightly shrugged at Catherine's suggestion of resting. "I'm not all that tired, but that's okay." she said softly. Truth be told, Alessa was a little stir crazy from being in the hospital for a week.

[Tigme]

Catherine was tired, although looking at the time, it was only nearly seven. Sleeping in a hospital chair wasn't the best for the back, and it especially wasn't a good way to get some sleep. They could understand how Alessa was so awake, but they were quite tired. Trying to hold back a yawn, they spoke, "Would you like to draw or read for a while? It's still a couple of hours before you'd need to go to bed."

[Boomer]

Alessa felt a little bold now that she was more comfortable around Catherine. "May I go outside and watch the stars and fireflies?" she asked. She was almost never allowed to go outside, but she'd watch the stars and fire flies from her old bedroom window.

[Tigme]

"The sun's only just beginning to set, but alright." Catherine said, "I'll come down with you, so just make sure you stay within my range of sight, alright?"
