"i wont judge," he promised. "i only judge people if they give me a reason to judge them," he followed the directions on the gps, switching lanes every ten seconds. he then arrived n the street and turned towards eli. "just tell me which house it is, okay?"

[Berenice.]

Eliza pointed to a pretty small but cosy looking house. It looked new and quite modern, which made up for how small it was. “That house there. See. It’s small and embarrassing compared to yours.” She got out the car as they arrived, fumbling with the lock for a while before finally opening the door. The first thing that greeted you was a hissing cat, very aggressive indeed. “Ignore the cat. It just wandered into the house one day and now it’s here. Don’t touch it or it will think you are trying to murder it and everything it owns.” She said with a roll of her eyes. The living room was small but had a black couch and a medium sized tv on a stand, pretty much it. The kitchen was even smaller, only room for two people maximum at a time. “Literally the size of your room this place. I have no idea where my parents are but I’m glad they aren’t here.”

he stepped inside and flipped the cat off. "it's not even bad, i like your house. it's cozy and reminds me of my-- where brianna?" he stopped himself, suddenly feeling embarrassed as he looked around for her. he heard her giggling as she tried to touch the cat. "brianna , are you trying to die?" he grumbled, scooping her up. she frowned as he held her, wanting to be put down, so instead he tossed her onto the couch as she burst into a fit of giggles.

[Berenice.]

Eli practically kicked the cat outside, not wanting to take any injury risks. “Your sister is as weird as you are. Sorry Brianna, there’s not much to do here. It’s a pretty boring place. I would show you upstairs but there’s not much else up there apart from two bedrooms and a bathroom. My bedroom is a mess so we won’t go up there.” She explained, throwing her bag carelessly on the floor.

"first time a girl hasn't invited me to her room, wow," ben sighed in a fake sad way. brianna just nodded and asked for her to put cartoons on. "do you have any food? i'm kinda dying of starvation." he allowed himself into the kitchen and opened the fridge, pulling out a cheese stick.

[Berenice.]

Eliza rolled her eyes at what Ben said, then put cartoons on for Brianna. “No they all go to your house which is why your bed is broken. At least I keep mine on tact.” She laughed, then watched as he got himself some food. “It wasn’t long ago you ate McDonald’s so you can’t be that hungry. And don’t eat too much because the food in there has to last for me and my parents so get out.” Eli pushed him out the kitchen and closed the fridge. “You might have loads of money for food but we don’t.”

"lets go to the store, i can buy you some food , you know," he offered, hoping she'd accept the deal. he pulled out his phone, checking the time. "it's only 6 : 3 2 , we have time ." he slipped his phone back in his pocket and waited for her reply.

[Berenice.]

It was a kind offer, but Eli still refused. “No no no. We will be fine but thanks for the offer. I’m not accepting anything from you since we have only just started talking today.” She replied. “Well, now you’ve seen my house don’t ever ask to see it again.”

"seriously,:" he demanded, pulling out his wallet. "i could really take you, it wouldn't affect me." he wondered if his words had hit a sore spot. he also pulled his phone out, checking the time. "but it would have to be tomorrow because it's about to be 7 , and i need to get brianna home," he called out to her and she ran from the hallway. "sorry, i was looking for the kitty, i saw him in the window and wanted to follow him." she confessed.

[Berenice.]

Eliza crossed her arms. “No! I said no. I don’t want you wasting your money.” She then smiled at Brianna as she came up with an idea that would probably make her happy, but possibly not Ben. Eli ran down the hallway and let the cat in, picking it up and shoving it in Bens arms. “Why don’t you keep the evil kitty? I’m sure Ben will agree that’s a good idea. He will take it home with you, Brianna.” Eliza looked from his sister to him with a smirk. She knew the cat was nice with some people and had figured it would eventually come to like Brianna, but maybe not Ben. “You’re welcome, Ben.” Eli laughed then opened the door for them.
