"i do..." he stopped, really not wanting to tell her where he worked. it was kind of embarrassing, actually. "i work someplace. and brianna's babysitter seems like a perv, to be honest," he knew she probably thought that his father bought him all his stuff and just gave him free money, but he didn't. he worked for all his stuff.

[Berenice.]

Eli smirked. “Tell me where you work! Are you embarrassed? Or just don’t fancy telling me? Well I don’t care because I want to know.” She grinned then waited for his answer. “Couldn’t you get a new babysitter? I don’t think it’s difficult.” Eliza told him as she flopped down on the couch and buried herself in the blanket.

"just watch her! i trust you more than anyone else and she talks about you nonstop!" he exclaimed, throwing his hands up as he lost at slither.io. "she keeps asking when the wedding is, oh my goodness." he put his phone on the charger. "is your phone charged? i have different chargers for different phones, which do you need?"

[Berenice.]

Eliza huffed and threw her phone at him because she didn’t feel like answering. “Stop avoiding the question! What’s your job? And how come you trust me more? You’ve known me for a day. But you can’t trust me that much because you won’t tell me your job.” She answered, wrapping up in the blanket and looking at him.

[celerie]

"aah, you'll laugh at me, my guy," he mumbled. "but if you promise not to tell anyone, i will tell you," he held out his pinkie to her like he did with brianna. his job really wasn't that embarrassing for a teenager, but for someone as high class as he was, yeah it was pretty bad.

[Berenice.]

“I’m not going to laugh at you! At least you have a job. I haven’t. I should probably get one...” She replied then pinkie promised. “And I won’t tell anyone. I’m not that shady. So go on. I don’t have all day.” Eliza didn’t know why he wanted to keep it such a secret. A job was a job.

[celerie]

"ahh, i work at the public animal shelter, washing dogs, feeding cats. the usual. and you do have all day!" he said quickly, hoping she didnt understand him. "we aren't aloud to have pets here, so i work with them, kinda y'know hoping i could be a veterinarian one day."

[Berenice.]

Eliza looked at him in shock. “Why was that a secret?! I want that job! It sounds great! It’s better than working in a fast food place or something. Ugh, I want a dog. I don’t think I’m that responsible though.” She smiled and huffed. “Well, at least you trust me. You’re probably the only person who has said you do.”

[celerie]

"because i have to keep my image up, i need everyone to think of me as a someone, you know." he mumbled. "unlike you, you just walk around school looking all good and stuff. people don't know you and expect things from you," he shut his phone off and coughed.

[Berenice.]

Eli raised an eyebrow. “Looking all good and stuff? Mhm. I think you should carry on.” She grinned, then made a disgusted face as he coughed. “Ew. I don’t want your germs. Keep it to yourself.” Eliza wrapped herself back up on the couch before speaking again. “What image are you after exactly? Because I think your job is great and won’t affect you’re image. A lot of people like a guy who likes animals.”
