"i hung up, but i can call her back?" he offered, not waiting for her answer. "here, it's ringing," he handed her his phone. "she asked if i wanted to go out on saturday for her mom's birthday dinner, i told her no but i wanna meet her mom, to be honest because i wanna see the lady that has to put up with that."

[Berenice.]

Eliza took the phone and began speaking once it had been picked up. “Alright Cynthia what is your problem? You are the most desperate person I think I’ve ever seen and heard of in my life. So let me put this lightly, Ben will go to your mom’s birthday stupid dinner, but not to see you. So you aren’t going to annoy him because it’s so irritating when you do. He doesn’t like you and no matter how hard you try it won’t change anything. Toodles!” She put the phone down and handed it back to Ben. “I think that went well.”

ben just stared at her, completely dumbfounded. "what is wrong with you? she's gonna start a rumor that we're dating! newsflash, you've learned more about me in a few weeks then the morning-after talks!" he ran a hand through his hair , completely stressing the time he'd have to meet his fling's parents.

[Berenice.]

Eliza rolled her eyes at how stressed he seemed. “Oh will you shut up? There’s been worse rumours about you that you probably don’t know of so stop stressing. Nobody will actually care anyway. Worse thing that happens is that we get teased. I’m sure you can handle a little bit of teasing from people.” She told him then laughed slightly. “Morning after talks.”

ben just huffed and crossed his arms. by now, school was already out and brianna was at her nanny's. "well, i have never heard any really bad rumors," he confessed. "i mean, yeah some are weird and it confuses me how they come up with them, but eh, i've never heard some bad ones. mostly funny actually," he covered up the couch with a throw and his favorite pillow.

Eliza wasn’t really listening and was too busy brushing her hair. “Are you still talking? But listen, there has been really bad rumours about you. But that happens to everyone. I’ve come up with a few of them.” She smirked. “Are you really sleeping on the couch? No. I feel too bad.” Eliza told him and crossed her arms. She would feel better taking the couch since she felt guilty way too easily.

"i need a nap, anyways," he sat on the couch and looked at eliza. "wanna watch some tv or netflix, the remote is right there," he pointed to it. "i have food in the fridge, and please stay out of my stuff." he pulled his shirt over his head and put the blanket over his body, dozing off into a nap.

[Berenice.]

Eli smirked and snooped around even though he told her to stay out of his stuff. “Why? What are you hiding? I’m obviously going to do the opposite of what you tell me because it makes you sound like you’re hiding something.” She told him and looked at his clothes. “You know, you’ve a got a surprisingly good fashion sense. I didn’t expect that from looking at you. No offence.”

"i'm just a naturally good looking person," he said in a cocky tone. he sat back up, knowing she wouldn't let even let him sleep. "okay, since you're extremely rude and don't like to let people sleep, let's do something." he walked over to her and swatted her hands as she fumbled through his drawers.

[Berenice.]

Eliza rolled her eyes. “Don’t get too cocky.” She laughed then thumped him when he called her rude. “Me? Rude? No, no. You’ve got it all wrong. You were the one who was going to fall asleep with a guest at your house. I don’t know, sounds pretty rude to me.” Eli smirked and sat on the bed. “And who says I don’t let people sleep? I don’t let you sleep. Not everyone.”
