"I'm just saying you could use some help." He purred in delight. Was he really annoying the medicine cat? The kind, caring soul, one of the highest powers in the clan? It was almost fun. "Unless you want me to leave you alone and I can just see if there's a hunting patrol arranged."

He began to pad away further, deciding it was best to actually take his leave at this rate.

"Goodbye." The she-cat mumbled, the annoyance slowly dying down. She gave a sigh of relief when he went, going to collect some juniper, It was the only time of day when cats weren't coming to her, rapidly. She of course, was a nurse during the war between Shadowclan and Riverclan. The war was hard fought, as was still continuing. Shadowclan was the strongest clan, and Thunderclan had backed down after a moon of fighting. This was the point were Riverclan broke the bond between the two clans. She could be daydreaming and then, a warrior would come in, demanding herbs for a leg wound. She rolled her eyes as she thought this.

It was later into the day. The sun was high in the sky, beaming warmth on the cats of RiverClan. Some basked in the sunlight, others crouched by the stream to take sips of the cool water. Drizzlefang, on the other hand, spent his time pacing around camp, watching the kits in the nursery visit their denmate in the medicine cat's den.

"Good to see Volekit seems to be recovering from his toothache." His statement apparently fell on deaf ears, so he decided to tell it to the medicine cat. "Is Volekit going to return to the nursery soon? Did you also gather all those herbs or did you decide the queens would get too crabby?"

Bramblepool groaned internally, sick of seeing this tom. "I'm happy for that, and I'm almost done. And a question for you, how many times are you going to come over here?" She asked, in a sarcastically happy tone. Placing the last herb in the bag, she stood, facing him. She waited for a response.

"Sick of me so soon? What a shame, you have to see me in camp every day." He purred in amusement as he looked around at the herbs. "Would you rather I was cold and hissing at you? That can easily be arranged."

Looking over at the herbs, his nose scrunched up. Drizzlefang, admittedly, had no idea what any did. Respect was held for any medicine cat in his eyes, they had a lot to learn and had a vital role.

"For an impatient cat, you really had to take the time to learn all these."

"By impatient, you mean educated." Bramblepool remarked, starting to walk back to camp with her herbs. She was surprised to not see queens screaming at her. And when she made it back to her den, Volekit was in the nursery. She smiled happily, organizing the herbs before lapping water from the small pool of a puddle in the corner. She felt refreshed, making sure Drizzlefang wasn't in her den.

He could blatantly tell Bramblepool didn't like him. It was a shame, maybe if he was injured enough he would be left for dead by the she-cat, despite her role in the clan. Dipping his head, he puffed our air from his lungs. Not knowing what else to do, it was just a normal day, wasn't it?

Therefore, he decided to go bask in the blazing sun, waiting for a patrol to set out for hunting or scent marking.

Feeling content, Bramblepool curled up into a ball, ready to sleep. Unfortunately, Beewing trotted in. She wanted her leg to be rewrapped, and Bramblepool nodded. Grabbing a stick for support and a few leaves, she was able to do the job. Beewing limped out, grunting. Bramblepool then curled up, falling asleep.

Of course he had to get an injury after he annoyed Bramblepool. He had been muttering phrases such as "mouse-brained" for at least an hour. Cutting himself on a rock after slipping, his luck definitely wasn't the best. It wasn't bleeding, yet it had caused him a limp. Therefore, many warriors suggested he went to visit the medicine cat in her den.

Swallowing his pride and asking StarClan to help him, he limped into the den. Seeing she was asleep, he sighed, clearly annoyed as he lay at the end of the den, leg outstretched as it still throbbed in a dull ache.

Bramblepool awoke, seeing the tom again. "Open wound, first one this moon." The she-cat said, annoyed. Padding over, she inspected it, placing a few herbs on the wound. Finally she placed a few leaves to act as a cast. "Now, don't walk on it much, or else it might affect the wound." Bramblepool said, grumpy.
