I reply before even thinking about who's talking to me. "Nah, I'm thinking about-" I turn to the voice and taken aback by Juliet. She looks a bit... winded. Like she's been running? "Oh. Uh.... hey." I whisper, giving a sheepish smile. I curse under my breath and bite my tongue. "Uh... well, I was going to see if Victoria wanted the notes from Jefferson's class, but... she doesn't seem to be answering." I give the door a swift kick as I say that, desperately trying once again to garner her attention. "Um.... sure." I place my hands in my jacket pockets before shrugging. "My... stuff is actually in my truck, don't ask." I shake my head and groan a bit, rolling my eyes. "Hayden called and said that Ms. Grant wanted Warren to tutor me, and... I just... got out and ran." I give her a weak chuckle before looking up to her again. There's a certain look in her eyes... a desperate plea to help me. She wants me to be- she's expecting me to be- that shy little boy who almost peed himself up on stage playing Caliban... but I finally got the courage to actually to do it. No thanks to Dad... he brought on that panic attack. But she's expecting me to be meek young teen... That... innocent... teen. But I'm not that little boy anymore. She wants to help, she does, but... do I want help out of this dark hole that I've dug? Would Jefferson even let me out of my obligations? Jefferson says he's the only one who truly cares about me... is that true? Do other people do, as well. My Dad certainly doesn't, that's for sure. And I haven't talked to Christian in so long... I doubt she'd even recognize me. I run a hand through my hair. "Yeah. Yeah, I'll be there. Just... gotta get my stuff."

(Why did I put Max, Kate and Brianna with Jefferson? I just assumed Juliet would come along with Nathan, so I gave them time alone.)
