"Okay so let's make a rose appear in our hands. So repeat after me. "Life to rose and rose to life. Let this rose shine bright." He said to her and a rose appeared in his hand. He waited for her to try.

[SpotSong]

Her eyes lit up excitedly at the rose and she smiled with a nod. "Okay... Life to rose and rose to life. Let this rose shine bright" she copied him. And not exactly a rose appeared... Some petals did but that was about it.

[it.will.rain]

"Close. How do you feel?" He asked her wanting to make sure she was okay to try again. "If you feel fine, try again and see if you can get it to work." He said to her. He was glad to see that she had magic. This would make things a lot more fun.

[SpotSong]

She smiled a little at the petals and looked at him. "Erm yeah I feel good. Let me try again" she said and let out a shaky breath before saying the spell again. And a small, dark red almost black rose appeared.

"Good job. Over time, the color will lighten up a little. That is how my roses first looked too. You should rest a while though. I don't want you to overuse your magic right away." He said to her.

[SpotSong]

"Right that's a good idea" she said nodding. She didn't quite feel tired or overworked but she was going to listen to him. She handed him the rose carefully and have him a sweet kiss before tilting her head a little. "Will you rest with me? Or are you going to do something?" she asked.

Colin took the rose and kissed her back. He would fix some stuff up and then take a nap with her. "I will rest with you." He said with a smile. He used his magic and fixed some stuff and then laid down next to her. He pulled her close and then closed his eyes.

[SpotSong]

She smiled when he decided to rest with her and snuggled into him a little. Booping his nose because his eyes were closed. She also ran a finger over his face basically just because she wasn't quite ready to sleep. Clair also lightly kissed his closed eyelids.

Colin opened his eyes when she was messing with him and he looked at her. "You are adorable." He said to her and kissed her. "You are not very tired are you?" He asked her as he held her close. He watched her.

"Mmmm...no" she said honestly. Smiling cheek ILY at him because she knew she had been messing with him. Though she was quite pleased with being held close and she played with a bit of his hair now.
