The Hunts End (Amiko and She-Wolf)

[Amiko]

Annalise chuckled and smiled softly looking at drakon "they're kids, they never seem to run low on energy." She slowly stood and looked into his eyes before gently nuzzling him as her heart beat a bit faster. She then pulled back a bit smiling and walked off a bit letting herself relax and trying to calm her heart down.

Ruby heard the girls run inside and sighed knowing that meant her time alone was pretty much over. She had managed to get herself up and dressed but still couldn't feel anything on her left side at all. With a sigh she looked at her hand and flexed it a bit frowning. Magic hadn't helped, and neither had anything they'd tried, but she had decent movement in her left side just no feeling.

Jace pulled Ali close and hugged her smiling slightly. "Don't worry about it als. What's up?" When he pulled away he looked down at her and stared at her ignoring the fact he felt like part of him was already dead from the time.

Stormie groaned and yawned slowly muttering to herself and let herself flop back on the bed. Despite the time she'd been with Bryn she still didn't like aela and she knew she'd be there too. With a groan she rubbed her eyes and sighed mumbling "I guess I gotta get up huh?". Her tail flicked a bit annoyed as she stared at Bryn from half lidded eyes.

Paxton's trainer raided a hand as a goodbye as he walked off.
Paxton smacked her hand away growling out "I don't need the damned pity! ". His eyes flashed completely silver before he gripped his head and shuddered.

Callie stopped at a small cafe she loved and slid inside to grab something quick. Working with the dragon and his group had paid off in more than one way, unlike before she actually had some money and could honestly afford to eat now. After ordering a small sandwich and a cup of water she sat at a stool at the bar to wait and listen to everyone in the cafe.

Ari rolled her eyes. “It’s not pitty you stubborn mule, it’s compassion.” She said firmly. “Pitty would be me letting you fight and kick him like a toddler mid tantrum. I cared enough to spare you that.” She stood there with her arms crossed, but formed her tail to pick him up. “He still picking fights with you? Or you two blending more?” She asked, batting his hand away as she looked at his eyes.

“Well isn’t this a rare sight. A certain someone abandoning the old man? Say it isn’t so!” A voice said playfully, grabbing her from behind. Lex smirked and planted a kiss on her head. “Ditch the crab?”

“I know regular cats sleep all day, but I enjoy actually being with my woman too.” He chuckled.

“True, still enjoy how you tolerate it, and that you still get fluttery.” He smirked, poking her chest with a taloned claw of his wing as he walked beside her. “So my dearest, what is on your mind?”

Marie and Reia raced inside, Marie went to the kitchen to gather food, but Reia went to Ruby’s door and knocked softly. “Auntie Bee! Are you awake?” Reia called softly.

Ali chuckled softly and held up a bag. “Well I had hopes to feed you, since I don’t know the last time you ate, and I don’t like visiting a crank.” She smiled softly. “And I wanted to see you, haven’t seen you much lately.”

In a flash of silver Paxton was a little ways away from Arielle and doubled over before throwing up foam from his empty stomach. He then stood slowly shuddering and glared at her with silver showing in his hair "your compassion is still pity". There was a deep growl in hi voice as he staggered a bit struggling to stay standing. With Callie so far away and his body still weak from everything it had went through, it put Paxton in excruciating pain to stay upright for ling at all.

Gold rushed across Callie's skin as she she went tense but when she and her demon saw it was only lex they both relaxed instantly leaving Callie with only a ring of gold in her blue eyes as she looked at lex with a irritated look in her eyes. "Thanks for the near heart attack arse hole." With a sigh and a shudder she then leaned forward so she was resting on the counter waiting for her food "he's with his gargoyle girlfriend so I figured it was safe to come grab something to eat while I had a chance". She then glanced at lex as her stomach growled lowly "what bring you in here anyway? You're not normally working this part of town"


Stormie groaned and draped an arm over her eyes "but it's too early. Besides I doubt I'd be able to keep my eyes open long enough to see the food let alone eat it right now"


Annalise smirked a bit but stayed quiet as her eyes glowed a bit seeing movement a ways away. As her stomach rumbled lowly her sight got sharper but she snorted when all she saw was a mountain goat. She'd hated the way they tasted and shook her head making her eyes return to normal. "Right now I'm more preoccupied with finding someone to eat" being stuck on the ground had many disadvantages for her, especially when it came to hunting because she couldn't just fly off and find food. But from what she'd managed to learn from the dark lord Caleb, her kind really didn't live places like this where they were pretty much useless at hunting. She'd also learned that aside from possibly 1-2 others she was the last ice dragon left.


Ruby sighed softly and slowly walked to the door and opened it before looking at reia "I'm up I'm up"

Jace laughed softly and looked at all "I'm fine also, but thank you" he lightly touched her cheek and smiled softly relaxing a bit despite his efforts not to relax too much "oh come on. Before this place went to hell you used to be fine seeing me once or twice a week" he then gently brushed some of her hair behind her ear and stared into her eyes.

Arielle sighed softly and moved back towards him, taking his arm in hers and leading him to a bench. “It’s pity to want to help a friend? I care about how you’re doing Paxton. I want to help you as much as I can because you are a friend to me, no matter how hard you push or grouch about.” She said. She sat him down on one end and then sat on the other, Bentley lifting his leg. “Here. This can help it hurt less and not be so stiff.” She said softly, then looking at him. “I’ll manipulate your nervous and muscle system in your leg, kinda like that machine in the PT’s office, except better.”

“I got off early, so i was checking up on things here and then looking for you.” He smiled, then pecked her head. “She can’t get so pissy with me, she’s going to be dealing with this for a long time.” He smirked a bit.

“Lass you’re always like that.” He teased. “Whelp, all the bacon and pancakes are mine... with the berries.”
The young girl smiled. “Goodmorning Auntie Bee! Daddy asked that we help you and be good. Can I braid your hair and make it pretty?” She asked with a smile. She loved playing with hair at the moment. Her dragon fondness for jewels had fallen into hair products, having a small collection of gem pins and a jeweled hair brush that Drakon has given her. “Marie is making you breakfast. I can’t help much with that yet.”

“Because I had to sneak around, and didn’t like you as much as I do now.” She said with a smirk, nuzzling into his hand. “But if you’re not going to eat let me put this away. It’s fresh.” She said with a playful sigh. “Took awhile to hunt that stupid elk down and not take it out without getting an artery.”

Drakon chuckled softly. “Darling I can give you a lift. I know you hate goat.”

As his annoyance and anger rose, Paxton began shaking before he jerked a bit and started to throw up with heat pulsing off him in waves.

Callie smirked before gasping and grabbing her head able to feel Paxtons pain. Without stopping to say anything to lex, or grab her food, she bolted out the door and shot down the road with gold slowly spreading along her temple. 'you stupid idiot!!!!' the faster she pushed the quicker her gold spread across the edge of her forehead and to her other temple as well.


Stormie shrugged a bit and curled up a little "go for it. I'll get up in a bit". Honestly, she felt like crap right now and for once, she wasn't hungry. As her discomfort persisted she slowly shifted to her cat form and just lay there completely shrouded in Bryn's shirt she'd been wearing.


With a heavy sigh Ruby walked out of her room stumbling from time to time when her left foot wouldn't lift right and sat on the floor in front of the couch where she usually let the girls brush her hair when she was up to it. She wasn't so much in a bad mood as she was just a bit irritated with her body, as always anymore.


Jace laughed softly and pulled Ali back and rested his chin in her shoulder "well I feel honored" he smiled warmly despite how tired he felt and wrapped his arms around her waist hugging her close as he yawned.


Anna snorted and crouched down where she was watching everything around them muttering "I hate flying more"

Drakon rolled his eyes, booping her wing softly. “Well a piggy back was an option, but there are other things roaming the mountain. And a way down.”

Ali rolled her eyes. “Go to sleep. You’re passing out on me. I’ll stop by again when you awaken.” She said softly, then she gave him a quick peck on the cheek.

Reia looked at her sadly and frowned. “Daddy said you could get better in time. Daddy always keeps his word... Lilly could help too.” She said quietly before slowly moving back out of the hall.

Bryn frowned softly, sitting beside her. “Kitten,what’s wrong?”

“Paxton. You have to calm down!” Arielle said firmly, but her face was filled with worry. “Look at me Pax, look at me! I need both of you to calm down and breathe. Tell me what is going on so I can help.” She looked around and grumbled a curse. With a flick of her wrist she cast a spell Lilly taught her to subdue demons for her work, she only hoped it would set aside Paxton’s demon hitchhiker for a short while so she could deal with the human in pain first.

Leo sighed heavily as he rubbed his temples. “I really hate sharing...” he muttered softly, then raced after her

Callie slid to a stop in front of Paxton and Arielle with bright golden eyes and a hatred in them that was rarely ever there. Without looking at Arielle she grabbed Paxton by the throat and lifted him off the ground growling deeply. "You stupid boy. How many times must we tell you to stop fighting and listen?!". The park grew silent as people turned to stare at the scene before them, and others backed away still leary of what Callie and Paxton could do. Paxton snarled and slowly opened his bloodshot silver eyes and managed to say a few rude comments before Callie slammed him head first into the ground causing the ground to shake a but and gold to form more on her head. She then kicked his body over so he was laying unconscious on his stomach and plopped onto the ground shuddering before glaring at Arielle "the two refuse to work with one another or us. Therefore this process will take that much longer. Doesn't help when we still have those of your kind and others going after me to kill him. I can not say your friend will ever truly be the same or recover right with my mate and I here. So it's best not to get your hopes up too high". Callie's eyes then slowly began to revert to her blue human eyes but she looked weak now and rested her head in her hands.
She'd been attacked 5 times in the past 2 days but always came out on top. However it wasn't without her getting hurt, she'd just been able to fix herself up easily enough to keep others from worrying.


Stormie gave a weak meow and just curled up a bit more buried in the shirt she'd been sleeping in before sneezing a few times and shaking her head. Stormie had been working the night before till around 10 then pushed herself to come into the house despite how uncomfortable houses still made her. She'd then stayed up for a while longer with Bryn and had slid into one of his shirts before laying down but she still didn't sleep for a while. Now, she felt drained and wanted to just sleep for a while and hope she could regain a sense of normalcy in her life. Stormie hadn't slept in 3 days now because she always felt something was up and rather would lay on Bryn as a small cat to keep an eye out while he slept.


Ruby flexed her left hand a bit still unable to feel it then glanced at reia "I believe I'm about as good as I'm going to get sparky". Ruby had taken to calling the young dragon sparky after watching her spark a few times when she was playing.

Jace chuckled and turned her head to lightly kiss her before pulling away muttering "yes ma'am" with a yawn be walked off to his room where the light couldn't ever reach him and stretched already struggling to even keep his eyes open enough to find his way to his bed.


Anna chuckled and looked at drakon smiling a bit. "I'm fine drakon. Besides it's always a pain going up and down the mountain without being able to fly" she lightly brushes her muzzle against his cheek and seemed to curl up a bit looking around again.

Drakon sighed and shook his head, “stubborn woman” He said with a smirk. “Fine, Fine, just trying to assist in making sure you don’t lose your mind. I however will wipe out the mountain goat population if I hunt up here. I’ll be home soon.” He said softly, nuzzling her in return before moving to the cliff side. To lovingly spite her, he didn’t take off, he dug his talons into the mountain side to climb down and yesterday his tail as a weight.

Ali smiled softly with a faint blush. “Sleep well.” She said softly, then headed out the door.

“Daddy says it’s better to try than to give up. I don’t like it when your sad, uncle Eric hates it when you’re sad too.” She said softly, she headed into the kitchen to help Marie.

Bryn sighed softly and chuckled. “Alright alright. You win Lass.” He said softly, scratching her ears softly. He sat there with her for a moment, he felt bad that she was so tired and wondered what was going on with her. After a few moments Bryn put the blanket offer her to make a warm little area for her then left her in peace.

“In stead of beating him I can get someone who can help more than myself.” Arielle said before Callie’s eyes returned. “Callie, are you alright?” She asked softly, having her sit while she moved to paxton. “Stubborn idiot..”

Anna snorted softly watching drakon before standing and walking towards the house. With a low growl her body shuddered and shimmered a bit before she appeared at the door as a human for the first time since she'd become a dragon. Anna stood there stunned that she'd finally managed to shift and blinked a few times before slowly opening the door and walking into the house to check on the girls. Her once blonde and purple hair was now blue with a bit of white in it and her eyes were a pale blue with purple around the edges.


Ruby glanced towards the door feeling an odd pulse of magic before Anna walked in, though she couldn't recognize the woman before her now that she was a human. She wasn't sure what this new girl was doing here or why Anna had let her in but she stayed quiet and looked away listening to everything going on around her.


Stormie gave a soft and tired chirp before curling up a bit tighter and trying to will herself back to sleep though she was still exhausted she couldn't get herself to fall asleep yet and that annoyed her a bit.

Callie shuddered hard and glanced at Arielle slowly "I don't think he's ever going to be the same Arielle. Not after everything that happened and all the times he got shot and stabbed recently.". She slowly pushed herself to stand but winced instantly regretting the decision with her stomach empty and her head pounding after Paxton's fit. Although gold had been able to heal Paxtons head after that gun shot she couldn't repair the damage it had done to the man bonded to her mate. Paxton often acted strange or seemed to be slipping away at times when he refused to talk or even eat anything that wasn't what his demonic half preferred.

Callie had a look of pain and like she wanted to get sick in her eyes as she slowly grabbed Paxton's arm and pulled him onto the bench he'd sat on earlier before whispering "I don't want to be a babysitter forever Paxton...."

“I never said return him to normal, but it is in one demons power to do so.” She said softly. “It’ll probably piss both of your demons off but we’re running out of options.” She said softly, examining him. “They’re meshing too much and fighting eachother. It’s toxic and not good, so, with the alternative of death looming over her mate, and more than likely you two, think I have Goldie’s permission to call in a higher up?”

Reia looked towards the door from the counter, gasping with a smile. “You did it!” She squealed, rushing to Anna and leaping into her arms, giving her a hug before she accidentally shifted. Reia was better at controling her forms, except when she was too excited. Her size now was that of a noodles Saint Bernard. Her scales that were once removed had finally started to grow back, but at the moment they were fingernail thin and more pink instead of cherry black. She nuzzled Anna happily, “I told you you could do it!”
