mia relaxed a bit as he mentioned not needing money. however, as he spoke of a soul, her eyes widened, before she yet again relaxed.her emotions were like a rollercoaster. as he spoke, she frowned softly, brows furrowing. "so i have to die?" she questioned softly, taking a breath and fiddling with her hands. it would save her mom.. "i-if it will really help my mom." she finally murmured. the girl hadn't exactly realized he didn't mean for her to die, more so she would have to serve him for the rest of her life.

Zebulon again arched an eyebrow at her. "You wouldn't be very useful dead, my dear. " He pointed out gently. "And boy thats such an old fashioned way of thinking. No, you wouldn't die. " He mused, almost in a playful way. He seemed to enjoy leading her on, as she came to her own dire conclusions.

"No, instead, you'd serve me. Do as i say kinda thing. Life gets lonely when these contract lulls set in." He informed, finally getting around to fully explaining her side of the deal. "I promise I don't bite!" He tacked on with a silly lop-sided grin, a stray breeze catching his dark hair and causing it to flow off to his left.

as the man mentioned her not having to die, confusion settled in before she realized what he meant as he began to explain it. releasing her lower lip, she slowly nodded. "okay, i'll do it." the female finally murmured, seeing the male smile at her relaxed a bit.he didn't seem like a mean demon. but was he just hiding it?

"y-you have to help my mom, first." she added on nervously, afraid he'd get angry at her words, she took another step back with a shaky breath, nibbling on her lip once more. "she's very ill." mia added on quietly.

He crossed his arms and gave her an appraising look. "You're certainly smart. If you run off on me i can and will track you down. " He warned, knowing that some humans had a tendency to delude themselves into thinking they can get out of signing a contract after a demon has agreed to their terms. "And you'd have to take me to her. Preferably where there aren't other humans around. It would be the witch hunts all over again." He trailed off with a mutter, remembering a past littered with violence as humans had rioted against the demons in their world, causing his race to retreat to their own realm, to hardly step foot in the human world again. Many summoning spells no longer work because their allotted demon no longer resided in the world.

mia listened to the demon, shaking her head. "i won't run off," she assured him softly, glancing to her car as he mentioned taking him to her mother. "o-okay, get in.' she murmured, walking over and sliding in the passenger seat, inhaling the sweet air, thanks to a wonderful air freshener. she waited for the man to get in, extremely nervous about being this close to a demon. "s-she's in the hospital..there's a lot of people there." she murmured, chewing her lower lip. would he not do it, now? was it too much for the male to handle?

He plopped into the drivers(?) side of the car, having to stoop a bit to get in. He was at complete ease within the car, familiar with the technology. Though not needed, he clicked the seatbelt in place, sometimes the cops of the world where very perceptive, and explaining that you where a creature that could survive a crash didn't go over so well.

Typically ended with an alcohol test. His long figure was odd compared to the compactness of the vehical, and he wondered if that alone would attract suspicion. "Hospital, eh? Not entirely sure i can help her there. For one im lacking my supplies. Two, many hospitals are sensitive to my kind. Not that you'd think they'd be, but they are." He explained. "Depending on her state i might have to have her moved to my estate to treat her "

He started the car's engine and sat for a second, then turned to her. "So ah, which city is this?" He asked, completely serious.

mia started the car, a bit shaky as there was a DEMON next to her. but he was saving her mother. at his words, her heart dropped and she shook her head. "you'll be able to help her.. i know it." she murmured determinedly to herself, beginning to drive into the city and towards the hospital.

as the male questioned the city, mia pursed her lips. "orlando," the female spoke softly, the hospital soon coming into view after a bit of driving, she found a parking space and slowly moved into it, shutting the car off afterwards.
